Welcome to the Bodhi Soul Guided Meditation Sessions.
This meditation will help you relax,
Quiet your mind and prepare you for a peaceful sleep.
Let's start by making sure you're ready for sleep and comfortably lying in your bed,
Allowing your arms to be away from your body and your feet to fall open to each side.
Knowing that this meditation will be sending you into a deeply relaxed state and you can allow yourself to drift off to sleep at any time.
Start by taking a few deep inhalations in through your nose and exhalations out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling out through your mouth.
Now allow your breath to come back to its natural rhythm.
Not forcing or judging,
Just simply breathing.
Start to let go of your day.
Letting go of all that happened today and just breathe.
As your thoughts come and go,
Allow them to pass by like clouds in the sky.
Begin to feel the weight of your body being supported by your bed beneath you.
Bring your awareness to your feet,
Your calves and your shin.
Allow them to relax.
Your knees,
Your thighs,
Your hips,
Your pelvis and your buttocks,
All softening and relaxing.
Now bring your attention to your back and your belly.
Releasing any tension and allowing them to relax.
Your hands and your shoulders,
Your arms,
All softening and relaxing.
Now moving your awareness to your chest.
Allow your breath to help soften and relax your chest.
Notice your neck and your head and allow their weight to melt into your pillow below.
Soften your face and release and relax your jaw.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your nose.
Let go of any lingering tension.
Feel your body completely supported by your bed beneath you.
Relax and surrender to this feeling of peace.
If your mind starts to wander,
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Come back to the feeling of your body completely supported by your bed beneath you.
Allow yourself to drift off to sleep.
Surrender to this feeling of peace.
