Now let's begin.
Find a comfortable position seated or laying down.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Let your hands rest loosely.
Let your jaw soften and let your shoulders drop.
Take a slow deep breath in through the nose.
Hold gently for a moment and exhale slowly through the mouth.
Again inhale and breathe in calm and breathe out and exhale the tension.
One more time inhale clarity and exhale everything you no longer need to carry.
Now let your breathing find a natural rhythm.
Bring your attention to the weight of your body.
Feel yourself being supported by the chair,
By the floor or the earth beneath you.
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to change,
Just being here.
With each breath imagine your nervous system settling,
Moving from urgency into safety,
From striving into presence.
Now in your mind's eye imagine yourself one year from now.
Not a fantasy version but the version of you who stayed consistent,
Who showed up,
Who made small courageous choices over time.
See this future you standing a short distance away.
Notice how that new version of you stands,
How that new version of you breathes,
The energy you carry.
That person is calmer,
More grounded,
More self-trusting.
Not perfect but stable,
Aligned and resilient.
Imagine this future self slowly walking toward you.
With every step feel their presence growing clearer,
Their confidence,
Emotional steadiness,
Sense of direction and that new person stops in front of you.
And now imagine stepping forward and gently merging with that new you that you have been looking at.
As you do feel their qualities move into your body,
Feel their posture become yours,
Their breath becomes yours,
Their inner dialogue becomes yours.
You are not trying to become them.
You are becoming them.
You are becoming that new self,
That new persona that you visualized and you envisioned.
You can silently repeat inside and to yourself,
I am becoming someone who trusts myself.
I am becoming someone who chooses growth over comfort.
I am becoming someone who meets life with steadiness and clarity.
I am becoming someone who trusts myself.

One more time,
I am becoming someone who trusts myself.

Let these words land not just in your mind but in your body,
In your chest,
In your belly,
In your nervous system.

Take a slow breath in and gently press your tongue and fingers together.

Anytime you repeat this gesture,
Your body will remember this version of you.
Slowly begin to bring awareness back to your environment and back to the room or whatever environment you are in.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice the air on your skin.
Listen for distant or close sounds and when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
You are still here but something inside you has shifted.
You are no longer chasing a future.
You are walking as that future.
