Find a comfortable place,
Sitting down or lying down.
Get comfortable in your nest.
Just release any holding,
Any tension throughout the body,
Breathing,
Inhaling through the nose,
Filling the whole of the body three-dimensionally,
Roughly for around about five,
And exhaling through the mouth or the nose,
Roughly for about five.
And carry on with this coherent breath,
Bringing functionality into your breathing and your body and your system.
Allow the breath to just gently inhale and exhale without any forcing.
Scan the body from the top of the head,
From the crown,
All the way down,
Trickling down like the waterfall cleansing the whole body,
All the way down to the feet and the toes and the toenails.
And just do that a few times.
The breath,
The breath of the snake,
The wood snake,
The snake has its belly on the earth.
The snake is adaptable.
The snake sheds what it needs to shed,
Constantly shedding away the dying to the rebirth,
Never any resistance,
Just allowing.
So,
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
The constant.
Inhale,
Imagining the diaphragm as you inhale.
Exhale,
The diaphragm expands.
Exhale,
Just release it,
Giving space in that diaphragm to breathe fully and take up your space in the world.
Breathing into the ribcage,
Three-dimensionally,
Into the back,
In and out,
Softening the belly and breathing in to the lower belly and all around the pelvis,
Through to the sides and the back of the pelvis,
Bringing the breath all the way to the clavicles,
Opening up the chest or any tension there,
Any holding,
Giving space to just notice what may be there,
Any grief,
And just bring some warming,
Loving breaths into that area,
Warming,
Loving breaths to the lungs as you inhale,
And as you exhale,
Just detox what needs to go.
Be with yourself right now.
You are right where you need to be.
Keep breathing light,
Gentle,
Deep,
And if there is any tension in the body that needs extra,
Tender,
Loving care,
Just target that area with the breath to give that area some support.
Let that area in your body know that you're here and you're listening and you're here to support what needs some nourishment and care,
What needs to be shedded,
What you need to let go of.
Just surrender because what's underneath is your new self,
The new somatic body.
Gently does it.
There is no rush.
In and out,
Just like the ocean,
Coming in and out,
Flowing,
No force,
But it knows when to press the gas on the car when it needs to,
And it knows when to take the gas pedal off.
The snake energy is here.
It's wise.
It's intelligent.
Your body is intelligent,
So allow it to do its thing.
Allow the healing to take place,
Coming out of the mind and the too much thinking.
Come into the wisdom of the body,
Breathing into your back body and the sides of you,
And the front,
An envelope,
This glorious breath of yours around yourself.
And just notice how your energy is feeling.
Just know you don't need to be fixed.
You are not broken.

Exhale and just let it go.

Smooth,
Slow,
But with intention.
The snake is spot on.
The snake can see,
And so can you.
Opening up your world,
Your visions.
Refresh your energy in your body.
And in your own time,
Just coming to the end of the breath meditation,
With a coherence breath.
Just gently,
Gently wiggle your toes,
Your fingers.
If your eyes are closed,
Gently open and close,
Just to adjust yourself in the space again.
And look at something maybe that brings you a resource,
Some joy in your body,
That you love,
Like a picture or a plant.
Or give yourself a hug.
Or think of someone you love,
And then obviously bring that love to yourself.
