Welcome.
Thank you for being here and for choosing to make yourself a priority today.
This is your mandala card of the day,
A gentle pause to breathe,
Reflect,
And explore.
Before we begin,
I invite you to have a journal or blank page nearby,
Along with a pen.
This session includes time for journaling.
For now,
Allow yourself to settle in.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to figure out,
Just this moment and this breath.
Let's begin by settling into this moment.
Gently close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Let your hands rest wherever they feel at ease.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
Take a gentle exhale out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale slowly.
And exhale fully.
With each inhale,
Breathe in lightness,
Warmth,
And love.
With each exhale,
Release tension and stress and worry.
One more time,
Breathing in steady and calm,
And breathing out long and soft.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Notice the quiet space you've created.
Notice that you are here,
Present,
Fully aware,
Supported,
Loved.
The theme for today is voice.
Your voice is one of the clearest ways you express who you are and what matters to you.
It carries your needs,
Your ideas,
Your boundaries,
And your desires.
Your voice is how you show up in the world and express what is true for you.
And yet,
It is not always easy to use it.
There can be hesitation,
Self-doubt,
Or a tendency to hold back.
A moment where you wonder,
Should I say this?
How will it be received?
Is it okay to ask for what I need?
These moments are human.
But even with that hesitation,
Your voice still has value.
It deserves to be heard,
Even if it feels uncomfortable at first.
Psychologist,
Bené Brown,
Speaks about the courage of vulnerability,
The willingness to show up and be seen,
Even when there are no guarantees.
Using your voice in this way is an act of courage.
It is choosing to express what is real for you,
Instead of staying silent.
Asking for what you need is not demanding,
And it's not selfish.
It is a form of self-respect.
It is how you honour yourself.
When you express yourself clearly,
You create the possibility for understanding,
For support,
And for new opportunities to emerge.
You also begin to build trust within yourself.
Each time you speak honestly,
Each time you say what is true for you,
You reinforce something powerful.
My voice matters.
What I feel matters.
What I need matters.
Research shows that when people communicate their needs clearly,
It strengthens relationships,
Reduces stress,
And creates more authentic connection.
Because clarity creates understanding,
And understanding creates connection.
I found that even small moments of speaking up can shift something internally.
A simple request.
A boundary expressed.
A truth shared.
And suddenly,
There is more alignment,
More confidence,
More presence.
The more you practice using your voice,
The more natural it becomes,
And the easier it comes to you.
Confidence doesn't come first.
It grows through action,
Through speaking,
Even if your voice feels quiet,
Through expressing,
Even when the words aren't perfect.
As author Audre Lorde said,
Your silence will not protect you.
Let that settle.
Your voice is not something to hide.
It is something to honor.
You do not need the perfect words.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You simply need to be honest and clear.
That is enough.
Take a moment now,
And bring your awareness to your breath.
Inhale slowly and fully,
And exhale gently and deeply.
Now gently bring your attention inward.
Notice if there is something you've been wanting to say,
A need,
A request,
A truth.
Without judgment,
Just notice it.
Now softly ask yourself,
What would it feel like to express this clearly?
Not perfectly,
Not forcefully,
But gently,
Just honestly.
Let that possibility sit with you.
Now I invite you to turn inward and explore this theme more deeply through journaling.
Take a moment to settle,
Perhaps placing your hand on your heart,
Softening your shoulders,
Softening your breath.
Settling fully into this moment here and now.
This is your journal prompt today.
What is one thing I need or want right now?
How do I express that clearly?
You may also explore what's been holding me back from using my voice.
What would change if I trusted myself to speak honestly?
Allow your thoughts to flow without editing or judgment.
There is nothing you need to get right.
Simply let whatever wants to be expressed come onto the page.
It's time to bring your journaling gently to a close.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in and exhale fully,
Releasing tension,
Releasing stress.
I'll share an affirmation.
You can repeat it silently or out loud,
Letting the words settle within you.
I use my voice with honesty and clarity.
I use my voice with honesty and clarity.
My needs and desires matter.
My needs and desires matter.
I am worthy of asking for what I want.
I am worthy of asking for what I want.
That ends our affirmation.
Take another deep breath in and exhale fully.
Notice how you feel more grounded,
More present,
More connected.
Thank you for giving yourself this time today.
Each time you return to this practice,
You are strengthening something essential,
Your ability to express yourself,
To speak with honesty,
To show up with authenticity and to honor what matters to you.
Your voice is not something you need to earn.
It is something you already have and each time you use it,
You step more fully into who you are.
Please come back tomorrow for the next mandala part of the day and carry this practice forward.
Until then,
Speak gently,
Speak honestly and trust that your voice matters.
