Welcome.
Thank you for being here and for choosing to make yourself a priority today.
This is your mandala card of the day,
A gentle pause to breathe,
Reflect,
And explore.
Before we begin,
I invite you to have a journal or blank page nearby,
Along with a pen.
This session includes time for journaling.
For now,
Allow yourself to settle in.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to figure out,
Just this moment and this breath.
Let's begin by settling into this moment.
Gently close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Let your hands rest wherever they feel at ease.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
Take a gentle exhale out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale slowly.
And exhale fully.
With each inhale,
Breathe in lightness,
Warmth,
And love.
With each exhale,
Release tension and stress and worry.
One more time,
Breathing in steady and calm,
And breathing out long and soft.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Notice the quiet space you've created.
Notice that you are here,
Present,
Fully aware,
Supported,
Loved.
The theme for today is love.
Love is a gentle yet powerful force.
It has the ability to illuminate even the darkest moments.
Not always loud or obvious,
But often through quiet expression,
Kindness,
Forgiveness,
Compassion,
And presence.
Love shows up in the small moments,
A soft word,
A patient response,
A moment of understanding.
These simple expressions carry a depth that often reaches further than we realize.
When you allow love to guide you,
Something begins to shift.
Your heart softens.
Your perspective widens.
What once felt heavy can begin to feel lighter.
What once felt distant can feel closer.
Research in psychology shows that love and compassion are not just emotional experiences.
They have a real impact on your well-being.
Practices like loving kindness and compassion have been shown to increase positive emotions,
Strengthen relationships,
And even support your physical health.
Love is not just something you feel.
It is something that supports and sustains you.
As teacher Ram Dass said,
We are all just walking each other home.
Let that settle for a moment.
There is a shared humanity,
A connection that exists beneath everything.
And love is what brings us back to that connection.
Love is not something you have to search for far outside yourself.
It is something you can choose again and again in each moment.
You may feel it through connections with others,
Through your own self-compassion,
Or through a deeper sense of support from God,
The universe,
Or a higher presence.
However it shows up for you,
Love reminds you of something important.
You are not alone.
You are held,
Supported,
And deeply valued.
When you move through your day with love at the centre,
Your actions begin to reflect that intention.
Even small gestures carry meaning.
A kind word,
A moment of patience,
A gentle thought.
These moments and intentions create a ripple,
A quiet impact that extends beyond what you can see.
Author Bell Hooks wrote,
Love is an action,
Never simply a feeling.
I believe that love lives in what we do.
It lives in how you show up,
In how you respond,
In how you care for yourself and for others.
What I found when I returned to love,
Even in small ways,
Is that there's a moment of ease,
Of presence,
A connection,
A sense of being one with the universe.
And from that place,
Everything just feels a little more grounded,
A little more meaningful,
Significant.
Love brings you back to what matters most.
Take a moment now,
And bring your awareness to your breath.
Inhale slowly,
And exhale fully.
Now gently bring your attention to your heart.
You might place a hand there,
Or simply notice the space within your chest.
With your next breath,
Imagine softening into that space.
Let it feel open,
Warm,
And steady.
Now gently ask yourself,
What would it be like to live fully in this moment with love?
Not forcing anything,
Just allowing a sense of care and kindness and to be present.
Let that feeling settle within you.
Now I invite you to turn inward and explore this theme more deeply through journaling.
Your journal prompt today is How Can I Let Love Guide My Actions and Words?
You may also want to explore where in your life you can offer more kindness or compassion and how can you show love to yourself in simple and meaningful ways.
Allow your thoughts to flow without editing or judgement.
There's nothing you need to get right.
Just respond to what you've heard and simply let whatever wants to be expressed come onto the page.
It's time to gently close your journaling.
Take a slow breath in and a soft breath out.
I'll share an affirmation.
You can repeat it silently or out loud,
Letting the words settle within you.
I let love guide my thoughts,
Words and actions.
I am supported,
Held and surrounded by love.
Love flows through me with ease and purpose.
Love flows through me with ease and purpose.
That ends our affirmation.
Take another deep breath in and exhale fully.
Notice how you feel more grounded,
More present,
Connected.
Thank you for giving yourself this time today.
Each time you return to this practice,
You are strengthening something deeply meaningful,
Your connection to love.
Not as something outside of you,
But as something you carry within you.
Something you can return to again and again.
Love is not something you need to find,
It is something you allow.
And in allowing it,
You begin to experience life with more softness,
More connection and more meaning.
Please return to this practice as often as you wish and join me tomorrow for another Mandala Card of the Day with a new theme.
Until then,
Move gently and let love lead the way.
