In moments of feeling overwhelmed, angry, tired, and fearful, it's easy to become entangled in a self-limiting storyline. This meditation invites you to gently return to the present, not by pushing feelings away, but by witnessing them with awareness. Featuring the soothing tones of the handpan, this sound meditation offers a grounding space to sit with your emotions without becoming them. Let the music & breath guide you back to your center: laugh, let go, and enjoy the present. Perfect for starting or ending your day with a sense of calm and presence.

Welcome my friend,

I'm your host Mahmood,

I'm back with another music meditation just for you.

If you've been feeling stress,

Anxious,

Depressed,

Overwhelmed,

Like nobody cares,

Feeling unseen,

Unheard,

Anxious about the future,

Depressed about the past,

Feeling ashamed about mistakes,

Feeling unloved,

Loving,

Trusting,

How many people,

Millions if not billions of people can relate to the same worries,

The same anger,

The same fear,

Reminding you that we're not on an island but deeply interconnected,

Intertwined in this human experience,

We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can deepen our trust,

To expand our awareness beyond the pain,

Just beyond the anxiety,

That being said,

Getting comfortable,

Becoming aware of your posture,

You can sit up straight or lie down,

Whatever you like,

Safe to close the eyes,

Tuning deeper inside,

Relaxing the face,

Relaxing the jaw,

The lips,

The forehead,

Relaxing the belly,

Relaxing all the little muscles in your feet,

Feeling the stillness of the ground beneath you,

Letting go of old life,

Old energy,

Breathing in trust,

And exhale,

Letting go of worries,

Every cell in the body breathing in,

And every cell in the body exhale,

Letting go,

Breathing in love for yourself,

And exhale love for others,

Breathing in compassion,

And exhale letting go of the inner criticism,

Coming back to trust,

Coming back to self love,

As we breathe in,

And breathe out,

And breathe in,

Breathing into the belly,

Dropping the shoulders,

If your mind has been wanting to think,

Now is the time to let your mind think,

Taking a deep breath in,

Breathing in through the nose,

And exhaling out the mouth,

Taking a deep breath in,

Holding the breath at the top,

And exhale,

Letting go,

Taking a deep breath in,

Holding that breath at the top,

Becoming aware of your presence,

And exhale let go,

Breathing in through the nose,

And take three long exhales out the nose,

Three long inhales through the nose,

And three long exhales out the nose,

Softening the face,

Relaxing the jaw,

The lips,

The forehead,

Relaxing the eyes as you look inside,

Witnessing and welcoming the mind,

Letting it unwind,

Relaxing the belly,

Relaxing the chest,

Opening the heart,

Reminding you and myself,

Everything that we look for,

We can find inside,

The love,

The recognition,

The acceptance,

You can find that inside,

Going inside yourself right now,

Underneath the anxiety,

Underneath the inner criticism,

Finding that part of yourself that's already loved,

Already enough,

Already present,

Already thankful,

Taking a deep breath in,

And a deep breath out,

Breathing in through the nose,

And exhale out the mouth,

The color for today is purple,

The number is 500,

And the animal is a pterodactyl,

I thank you for joining me across time and space,

I'm sending you a big hug,

Wishing you an abundance of love,

Resourcefulness,

Creativity,

Consciousness,

To go inside for the things that we can compulsively look outside of ourselves for,

It's a very human thing to do,

So don't beat yourself up if you are looking always outside of yourself,

That is quite the tempting thing to do,

And I know I can relate to doing that,

But this meditation is a beautiful practice,

Just to let go of the outside and come in,

Looking inwards,

Discovering that we really have so much inside of us that is left unexplored,

Because we are always looking outside of ourselves,

So enjoying your mind,

Having love for your mind,

So that you can be with it more intimately,

And understand its ways,

Same with the emotions,

They all have their own beauty,

If we can just be with them,

Even anger or sadness,

It has its own beauty,

If we can just allow them to be,

And with that,

I will see you back here tomorrow,

With love.
