So in the busy worlds that we live in you might be someone that doesn't have time to sit and meditate or maybe you're someone that hasn't formed a deep connection to meditation and finds it challenging.

What you can do is take little breaks throughout your day to check in with yourself.

In meditation what we're doing is allowing space within us.

There's stages of deepening your practice,

There's slowing down,

Grounding,

Connecting to your body and then opening to a sense of spaciousness within.

This sense of space is where the freedom is,

This is where the healing happens.

When you allow space within this allows stuck energy in your system to start to move and to liberate.

When we allow space within this also allows a natural joy that's innate within all of us as part of our true nature.

You want to start to bubble up and shine into your being.

Of course it's most beneficial in a deep meditation where you can spend time really dropping into and being with your own experience.

But if this is difficult for you for whatever reason it can also be helpful to take a few or several breaks throughout your day to just stop and allow space within.

You can do this while brushing your teeth,

You can do this while sitting at your desk or on lunch break,

You can do this at any time of the day.

You just need to take a minute or few to stop what you're doing,

Allow yourself to slow just a little bit and check in with how you're doing and allow space within your body and mind.

If you take a minute to stop what you're doing and check in with yourself you don't need to have the intention of stopping for a minute and completely clearing everything in your head.

For example if you're having a very stressful day and then you try to stop for a minute and completely clear your mind it can end up in a bit of a struggle.

If you're really stressed the energy in your body will be moving around quite energetically and to try and shut it all down for a minute is quite challenging.

So what's more beneficial and feels more nourishing for us is just to take a moment,

Allow yourself to slow down a little bit,

Enough to be present with what's happening in you right now and then just have a little check-in with what is happening in your system in the present moment.

What do you feel and whatever is there,

Whatever you feel,

Give it space and allow it to be as it is.

Allow it freedom and remember to hold your space with a sense of compassion and a sense of love and even if what you feel is uncomfortable try to allow it to just be as it is without judgment.

If we don't allow space within us,

Over time we can just keep contracting things down into our system and that can build up over time towards an implosion.

I'm sure we've all felt this in times of stress or anxiety.

So allowing space into our lives in whatever way possible with a sense of compassion can really start to encourage feelings of acceptance and contentment.

I hope this little snippet helps you to connect to your inner self and at times when you can't meditate that you will find breaks in your day to just check in with yourself,

Allow space and allow joy to shine through.
