Hey darling,

Let's take just a few moments to pause.

You've been showing up,

Checking things off,

Juggling all the things,

But now it's time for a little reset.

This isn't just a break from work,

This is a break for you.

Maybe your mind feels overloaded,

Maybe your body's holding tension,

Or maybe it's both.

Craving rest,

Recharge,

And just a moment to breathe before you move through the rest of your day.

Wherever you are,

At your desk,

In your car,

Or hiding in the break room,

Let this be your moment to exhale.

Start by sitting comfortably,

Or standing if that's what you need.

Soften your gaze,

Or close your eyes if that feels good,

Let your shoulders drop away from your ears,

Unclench your jaw,

Uncross your legs,

And just breathe.

Take a slow inhale through your nose,

And then exhale gently through your mouth.

Let's do that again.

Inhale through your nose,

And exhale through your mouth.

Right now,

There's nowhere else you need to be.

You don't have to fix anything.

You don't have to be anything but free.

Let the to-do list wait,

Let the noise fade,

And let yourself be.

Even in the middle of a chaotic day,

You can come back to your breath,

Back to your body,

And back to you.

Let this little pause remind you,

You're doing enough.

You are enough,

And you absolutely deserve this break.

This isn't selfish,

It's sacred.

Taking care of you helps everything else fall into place,

Even the work.

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few moments,

Even you.

So,

I'm going to leave you here with a moment of silence,

Just for you.

Let it hold you.

Take one last deep breath in,

And let it out.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring your attention back to the space around you.

Wiggle your fingers,

Roll your shoulders,

And let it go,

Darling.

Carry this calm with you,

Even if just for a little while.
