Take a deep breath and let's turn this moment into a stepping stone for your journey ahead.
Welcome to a space where it's okay not to be okay,
And where you can find a bit of peace in the middle of it all.
You've got this.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position lying down on your back.
With your arms resting by your sides,
And your palms facing upwards.
Close your eyes gently.
And take a moment to settle into this space.
Allow your body to relax and release any tension.
Name that this is your time for you.
Take a deep breath in.
As you exhale let go of any worries or thoughts that might be floating around in your mind.
Feel the weight of the day's expectations gently lifting off your shoulders.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the coolness as you inhale.
And the warmth as you exhale.
With each breath,
Allow your body to relax more deeply.
Take another deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any judgments or negative thoughts about your body or yourself.
Embrace the present moment and honor yourself exactly as you are.
Imagine yourself standing in front of a full-length mirror surrounded by soft warm light.
Gently observe your reflection without judgment or criticism.
Allowing love and acceptance to fill your heart.
As you look at yourself,
Notice the unique qualities that make you who you are.
Appreciate the beauty of your eyes.
Strength of your body.
And the kindness that radiates from within you.
Acknowledge the wonderful journey that your body has carried you through and continues to support you in.
Now bring your attention to your heart.
Visualize a warm golden light glowing from inside your chest.
Radiating love and acceptance.
Feel this light expanding with each breath.
Surrounding your entire body in a loving embrace.
Feel the light reaching out to your loved ones,
Lovingly embracing them.
Now feel the light reaching out to all of your friends,
Surrounding them with your love.
Extend the light outwards to reach your teachers and all of the people who you know or who pass you every day.
Extend the light even further by surrounding all of the people in the world with your love and acceptance.
Repeat the following affirmations silently.
I am beautiful and worthy just as I am.
My body is unique and deserves love and care.
I embrace my imperfections.
And I see them as a part of my journey.
I am grateful for the strength and vitality that my body provides me with.
Choose to nourish my body with love,
Kindness and healthy choices.
Feel the power of these affirmations sinking deeply into your consciousness.
Replacing any self-doubt or negative self-talk with love and acceptance.
Now shift your focus to the sensations within your body.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort.
With each breath,
Imagine a wave of relaxation flowing through these areas,
Releasing any tightness or stress.
Allow your body to soften and surrender to the present moment.
Now visualize yourself surrounded by a circle of all the people in your life.
Who was supportive and loving.
These may be friends,
Family members or mentors who uplift and encourage you.
Feel their positive energy and never-ending support knowing that you are never alone.
Now take a moment to appreciate the uniqueness of each person in your support circle.
Recognize that just as they accept and value you,
You also have the power to accept and value yourself.
Know that you are worthy of love,
Acceptance and self-compassion.
Embrace your unique qualities and let your inner light shine brightly.
When you are ready,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Feel the surface beneath you and the air gently touching your skin.
Slowly wither your fingers and your toes.
