Get ready to embark on a journey of relaxation,
Rejuvenation and resilience.
Let's begin our practice and empower ourselves to unwind and thrive in the face of stress.
Find a comfortable position lying down on your back,
Arms resting by your sides,
Arms pacing upward.
Close your eyes gently.
And take a moment to settle into this space.
Allow your body to relax and release any tension,
Knowing that this is your time for self-care and restoration.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs with air.
Exhale slowly releasing any tension or worries.
Repeat this a few more times.
Breathing deeply in.
And exhaling fully out.
Letting go of any stress or tension with each breath.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Scan your body from head to toe,
Noticing any areas of tension or discomfort.
As you become aware of any tension.
Consciously release it and allow that part of your body to relax.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into the support beneath you.
Feeling grounded and secure.
Now bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your breath without trying to change it in any way.
Observe the sensation of each inhale and exhale,
Feeling the breath nourishing your body and calming your mind.
As you continue to breathe.
Imagine a soft,
Warm light gently surrounding your body.
Creating a soothing cocoon of relaxation.
With each inhale,
Feel this light expanding and filling you with a deep sense of calm and peace.
With each exhale,
Let go of any stress,
Tension,
Or worries,
Allowing them to dissolve into the space around you.
Now bring your mind to a peaceful place in nature.
It could be a beach,
A forest,
Or a meadow.
Visualize yourself there.
Fully immersed in the tranquility of this place.
Notice the sights,
The sounds.
And the smells around you.
Feel the gentle breeze on your skin.
And the warmth of the sun embracing you.
As you continue to immerse yourself in this peaceful place.
Affirm to yourself.
I am calm and relaxed.
I am capable of handling any challenges that come my way.
I have the inner strength to overcome stress and find peace within.
Feel the power of these affirmations resonating within you,
Strengthening your resolve and bringing a deep sense of peace.
Now shift your focus to your body again.
Starting from your toes,
Bring your attention to each part of your body.
One by one.
And consciously release any tension or tightness.
Move through your feet.
Your calves.
Eyes.
Hips.
Abdomen.
Chest.
Arms.
And hands.
All the way up to your head.
With each part,
Imagine a wave of relaxation washing over it,
Melting away any stress or tension.
Take a moment to bring your awareness to your heart center,
The space in the middle of your chest.
Feel a sense of compassion and love emanating from this space.
Enveloping your entire being.
Know that you are worthy of love and kindness and that you have the inner resources to navigate through stressful situations with grace and resilience.
As we come to the end of this practice.
Take a moment to express gratitude for this time that you have dedicated to yourself and your well-being.
Know that you can return to this state of calm and relaxation any time you need it.
When you're ready,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Gently stretch your body.
And open your eyes.
Remember that you have the power to manage stress and find inner calm.
Carry this sense of relaxation and peace with you throughout your day.
Goodbye.
