Recorded Live on 6/30/2026 as a part of our weekly book series on Transforming The Shame Triangle: From Shame to Love Using Parts Work. The fawn response is a protective survival strategy where we learn to prioritize others’ needs, emotions, and expectations in order to stay safe and connected. While it may have once been essential, it can leave us disconnected from our own voice, boundaries, and inner knowing. In this gentle, 5-minute somatic meditation, you’ll be guided to slow down, reconnect with your body, and meet the parts of you that have worked so hard to keep the peace, approaching them with compassion rather than judgment. Through mindful breathing and body awareness, you’ll begin creating space for authenticity, self-trust, and the reminder that your worth is not dependent on pleasing others. This practice is a supportive companion for anyone exploring healing through parts work, nervous system regulation, and embodied self-compassion. Please note that this practice does not replace professional mental health care.
