Welcome!
I'm so glad that you're here.
This is an EFT tapping practice to help you move through frustration,
Gently,
With presence and compassion.
Whether it's from a stressful moment or a deeper pattern,
This is a space for you to check in,
Let go,
And come back to yourself.
If you're new to tapping,
Don't worry,
I'll guide you through the points.
You'll tap with your fingers on each of the spots that I name and repeat what I say.
Or you can simply listen and follow along in your own way.
Let's begin by tuning in.
Bring to mind something that has been frustrating you.
It could be recent and reoccurring,
Or just a general sense of being overwhelmed and frustrated with that.
Notice how it feels in your body.
Is there tension,
Heat,
Tightness,
Pressure?
Take a moment here to rate your frustration on a scale of 0 to 10.
Zero would mean no frustration at all,
And 10 is the most frustrating,
Most intense.
Take a moment to notice your number.
Just go with whatever comes to mind.
We'll check back in with this at the end.
Take a nice,
Deep breath in through your nose,
And exhale through your mouth.
Let's begin.
We're going to start on the pinky side of the hand.
So I like to tap with my right hand on the pinky side of the left,
But you can do the opposite,
Whatever ever feels best for you.
Even though I feel all this frustration in my body,
I'm open to being kind to myself anyway.
Even though this frustration feels overwhelming,
I choose to acknowledge it with honesty and compassion.
Even though I don't like how this feels,
I accept where I am in this moment.
We're going to start at the top of the head.
I feel this frustration in my body coming to the start of the eyebrow.
It's tight.
It's heavy.
Moving to the side of the eye.
It feels stuck.
Under the eye.
This is so uncomfortable.
Under the nose.
It's hard to carry this.
Onto the chin crease.
But I'm trying to let myself feel it.
Coming to the collarbone.
Noticing where it lives in my body.
Under the arm.
It's okay to be honest about how I feel.
On the back of the hand between the pinky and the ring finger.
This frustration is here and I'm giving it space.
Coming back to the pinky side of the hand.
Even though I'm still feeling frustrated,
It's okay and I'm okay.
Even though I'm still noticing this frustration and it's really overwhelming,
I'm choosing to love myself through it.
Even though I still don't like how this feels,
I accept where I am right here,
Right now.
Moving to the top of the head.
I've been holding all of this in.
Coming to the eyebrow.
And now I'm letting it be seen.
Side of the eye.
This frustration has been building.
Under the eye.
It's been living in my body.
Under the nose.
I don't have to push it down.
Onto the chin crease.
I'm allowed to feel what I feel.
The collarbone.
This is my truth right now.
Under the arm.
And I'm letting it rise and move.
Back of the hand between that pinky and the ring finger.
I witness this frustration without judgment.
Nice deep breath in.
And out.
Coming back to that pinky side of the hand.
Even though I'm frustrated,
It feels good to verbalize it.
Even though I still feel the frustration in my body,
I choose to love myself through this.
Even though I'm frustrated,
It's okay.
And I'm okay.
Coming to the top of the head.
Maybe I can let go just a little.
Coming to the eyebrow.
Even if I don't release all of it.
Side of the eye.
I'm ready to soften the edges.
Under the eye.
My body is asking for relief.
Under the nose.
Letting go of some of this tension.
Onto the chin crease.
Letting a little more breath in.
The collarbone.
I don't have to carry this all day.
Under the arm.
I can set it down.
Even if just briefly.
And the back of the hand between the pinky and the ring finger.
I'm releasing what I no longer need to hold onto.
Coming once again to the pinky side of the hand.
Even though I still feel frustrated,
I'm choosing to let some of this go.
Even though the frustration is still here.
I love,
Honor,
And accept myself.
Even though I've been carrying this frustration for a while.
Right here,
Right now,
I'm choosing to let some of it go.
Coming to the top of the head.
I accept how I feel.
Eyebrow.
Even when it's hard.
Side of the eye.
Even when I feel stuck.
Under the eye.
I'm doing the best that I can.
Under the nose.
I am enough.
Onto the chin crease.
I don't have to force anything.
Collarbone.
I choose to be gentle with myself.
Under the arm.
This is what healing feels like.
The back of the hand between the pinky and the ring finger.
I choose to meet myself with compassion.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And a long,
Easy exhale.
And I want you to bring that frustration that you started with to mind.
And ask yourself how you would rate it now on that scale from 0 to 10.
Notice what's shifted.
Maybe it dropped a few points.
Maybe it feels a little softer or lighter or less stuck.
There's no right answer.
Whatever you're feeling is okay.
You've already created space just by tapping.
Thank you for being here and showing up for yourself in this way today.
Come back to this practice any time that you need it.
You are not alone.
You are doing beautifully.
Be gentle with yourself as you move into the rest of your day.
