Welcome to day 16 of our 21 day meditation challenge for weight loss.

Today's session is focused on cultivating mindful awareness.

Mindfulness is about being fully present in the moment,

Aware of your thoughts,

Feelings and surroundings without judgment.

This practice can help you make sure culture's choice and stay connected to your goals.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Whether seated on a chair with your feet flat on the floor or cross-legged on a cushion.

Let your spine be straight yet relaxed and allow your hands to rest gently on your knees or in your lap.

Close your eyes softly and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling your lungs expand.

Hold the breath for a brief moment,

Then slowly exhale through your mouth,

Releasing any tension.

Repeat this breathing cycle two more times and letting yourself settle into the practice.

Now,

Bring your attention to your breath and notice the natural rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation without trying to change or control it.

Simply observe the flow of your breath,

Feeling the air move in and out of your body.

As thoughts arise,

Acknowledge them without judgment and gently return your focus to your breath.

This practice of returning to the breath helps cultivate a state of mindful awareness where you are fully present in each moment.

If your mind wanders,

That's okay.

Just bring your attention back to your breath,

Grounding yourself in here and now.

Now,

Expand your awareness beyond your breath to include your entire body.

Notice any sensations,

Tension or areas of realization.

Be present with whatever you feel without needing to change or fix anything.

Imagine carrying this mindful awareness with you throughout your day.

Whether you are eating,

Working or interacting with others,

Allow yourself to be fully present,

Noticing the details of each experience by practicing mindful awareness.

You can make more intentional choices that support your well-being and keep you aligned with your goal.

Take a moment now to set an intention to carry this mindful awareness with you today.

It might be something like,

I choose to be fully present in each moment.

Or,

I embrace each experience with awareness and clarity.

Silently repeat your intention to yourself,

Letting it sink in and resonate throughout your being.

Feel this intention guiding your actions and thoughts as you move through your day.

Take a final deep breath in and fill your body with the energy of mindfulness and awareness.

Slowly exhale,

Bringing your intention and attention back to the room around you.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

Stretch if you need to.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes and feeling grounded,

Aware and ready to continue your journey with a mindful heart.

Thank yourself for dedicating this time to cultivate mindful awareness.
