Greetings and welcome to Meeting the Playful Ones,

A journey through the 6 F's of IFS.

Take a gentle breath in and out.

Begin to notice the rhythm of your body.

The sensation of your breath.

The rhythmic beat of the music within you.

Feel the presence of self.

Curiosity.

Compassion.

And let yourself gently drop in.

Let's begin by asking,

Is there a part of you that would like to speak today?

A part that might be curious or hopeful.

Or that is longing for more fun,

More freedom,

More playfulness.

That part might show up like an image,

A sensation,

A memory,

A voice,

A movement,

Or something else.

Just notice what parts arise and allow them to come forward.

Gently focus your attention on the part.

Where do you sense it most in your body?

What does it feel like to simply be with this part without changing anything?

Turn your attention toward it,

Like you would toward a friend sitting next to you that's waiting to be heard.

Begin to get to know this part a little bit more deeply.

Curiosity.

You can ask with curiosity.

What do you look like?

You can ask gently.

How old do you feel?

You can lean in a little bit more.

What role do you play in my system?

When did you first show up here?

Just relax.

Take an observer's position.

Let the answers arise.

There's no rush.

There's no forcing anything.

There's no judgment in this space.

All parts are welcome.

Trust what comes.

Even if it seems like it's just your imagination,

That's okay.

Notice how you feel towards this part.

Is there some curiosity?

Is there compassion?

Is there irritation or judgment or even some distance?

Whatever is there,

Whatever is present,

It's all welcome.

If there's anything else besides maybe compassion or curiosity,

Gently ask those other parts to step back for a moment,

To allow you to connect with,

To get to know more,

To be able to lean in with this part.

Let this part know,

I see you.

I'm here with you.

I want to understand you.

I don't want to change you.

I just want us to connect.

You can gently ask the part,

What do you want me to know about you?

What are you afraid of?

What do you think might happen if you didn't do your job?

What are your concerns?

What do you really wish for me?

Sit with it.

Just listening.

Allow it to answer you the way that feels right for it.

Let it feel your presence,

Your love,

Your care,

Your appreciation,

Your gratitude.

If it feels right,

You can gently ask,

What are you afraid of?

What do you think would happen if you didn't do your job?

If you took a day off?

If you did something fun for yourself?

You could ask,

Is this something that you are protecting me from?

Is it another part?

Is it something else?

See if this part is open to receiving support from you.

Maybe even some support from self.

Let it know that it doesn't have to do it alone anymore.

You are here.

Your self is here.

You could ask this part,

What would fun look like for you?

If you can get to play,

To be able to enjoy yourself,

To be able to lean into playfulness or adventure,

Or just having a good time without expectations,

Obligations.

What would that look like for you?

What would bring you joy,

Even for a moment?

Invite it to just show you,

To let you know.

Through images,

Through colors,

Through laughter,

Through rhythms,

Through a story,

Or even through dance.

Let self take in that vision.

Feel it in your body.

It's okay to smile.

It's okay to welcome that into your heart space.

You could allow it to just ripple outward,

To ripple forward,

To just surround you in this bubble of enjoyment,

Of fun.

Thank this part for coming and sharing time with you.

If it feels well,

And it feels okay to do so,

You can let the part know that you will return again.

You can let the part know how much you enjoyed this connection.

And whenever you're ready,

Gently begin to return to your breath.

Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.

And when it feels right,

You can open your eyes,

Holding gratitude in your heart towards your part that showed up today.

And just release a heartfelt thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for tuning in.

Bye-bye for now.
