Hello,

My friend.

It's time to slow down,

To rest your body and open your imagination.

Let's take a quiet journey together.

You don't need to do anything at all.

Just listen and breathe in and out and out.

Feel your body getting softer,

Calmer and heavier.

Feel it sinking into whatever is beneath you.

Now,

Let's take a journey together.

Imagine you're standing at the edge of a beautiful garden.

It is very peaceful here.

Soft sunlight,

Full shadows and leaves that rustle in the trees above.

Take a slow step forward.

Feel the ground under your feet,

Warm,

Gentle,

Solid and safe.

Feel the sun's warmth against your body and the gentle breeze brushing past you.

All around you,

There are tiny droplets of dew resting on plants and petals.

When the sunlight touches them,

They sparkle like little stars.

As you walk deeper into the garden,

Everything becomes quiet and calm.

And you notice a tiny trail glimmering on a leaf in front of you.

A shiny,

Silvery path.

That's right,

A snail has been here.

You follow that silvery trail with your eyes,

Slowly,

Slowly,

Until you find the little snail who made it.

There he is,

Resting on a small green leaf.

His shell looks like a tiny,

Curled up cinnamon roll.

Golden brown,

With swirly shapes that look like nature's artwork.

As he peeks out,

You notice his two long feelers stretching forward.

Right at the top are his eyes.

Yes,

Snails carry their eyes on little storks,

Like tiny telescopes.

Isn't that amazing?

The snail moves slowly,

Gently,

Gliding like he's floating on a dream.

As you watch him,

You start to feel calm too.

Slow,

Relaxed,

And peaceful.

Just like a snail enjoying a soft morning.

A snail takes his time,

He never rushes.

Snails know that moving slowly means you can see everything,

Hear everything,

Feel everything.

You notice how soft the earth looks beneath him.

That's because snails travel on a cushion of special slime.

Not yucky slime,

But smooth,

Silky slime that helps them glide over bumps and stones.

It's like their own tiny magic carpet.

You look a little closer and see something wonderful.

Snails have thousands of tiny teeth on their tongue,

So tiny you can't see them.

Imagine that,

Having thousands of tiny teeth.

And there's something even more magical about snails.

Did you know a snail's shell grows with them?

It's their home,

It's their roof,

And their protection.

They can tuck their whole body inside when they need to feel safe.

Did you know that every snail is both a boy and a girl at the same time?

Isn't that interesting?

It means snails don't worry about who or what they are.

They are just perfectly themselves.

As you watch the snail glide smoothly,

Imagine how easy it feels to be calm,

Gentle,

And completely okay just the way you are.

As you walk along with your snail friend,

You remember something important.

Even though snails are gentle and quiet,

Their bodies are very soft and delicate.

If someone picks them up,

Their tiny muscles can get hurt or their shell can crack,

And the slime they need to move can get rubbed away.

So we never pick up a snail,

We only watch and walk beside them like respectful friends.

Snails are safest when they stay on the ground,

Moving at their own slow,

Steady pace.

You watch the snail gliding along so slowly and smoothly you can hardly hear a sound.

You follow him as he leads you under some bushes.

Sunlight sprinkles through the gaps between the leaves.

A butterfly flutters past.

A ladybird crawls along a stem.

And the snail keeps moving,

Calm and steady,

Showing you how peaceful it feels to slow down.

You notice your breathing has slowed too.

Deep and gentle.

In.

And out.

And out.

You feel relaxed,

Slow and safe.

Your snail friend pauses beside a flower with white petals that reminds you of soft clouds.

The snail is getting sleepy.

Snails can sleep for a very,

Very long time.

Some can sleep for days,

And some can even sleep for years when the world gets too hot or too dry.

They rest when they need to.

No hurry.

No rush.

Just like you right now.

The snail slowly turns toward you as if to say thank you for walking gently beside him.

But it's time for him to rest now.

You feel thankful.

Thankful for the calm,

Quiet and slow walk together.

Take a deep breath in.

When you feel ready,

Picture the garden becoming softer and lighter.

As if it fades into sparkles and floats away like a dream.

You are back now where you started.

Right here,

In this moment.

But you are carrying something new.

The calm.

The slowness.

And the peaceful heart of a snail.

Take one more slow breath in.

And out.

And when you're ready,

You can choose to continue to rest or gently open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me today.

Bye for now,

My friend.
