Hello,

My friend.

It's time to slow down,

To rest your body and open your imagination.

Let's take a quiet journey together.

You don't need to do anything at all.

Just listen and breathe in and out and out.

Now,

Let's take a journey together to a warm,

Sunny land.

A wide open savannah where the grass softly sways in the breeze.

Imagine you are standing on the gentle earth.

The ground feels steady beneath you,

Strong and safe.

The air is warm and the sky stretches wide and blue above your head.

In the distance,

You notice something moving slowly and calmly.

It's a gentle elephant.

The elephant walks with quiet,

Peaceful steps.

Each step is slow and strong and kind.

You can feel the ground softly humming beneath its feet.

Like the earth is saying,

Everything is okay.

This elephant is very big,

But also very gentle.

Its skin is soft and wrinkly,

Like it's holding stories from a long,

Long time ago.

Did you know that elephants are some of the wisest animals on earth?

They remember paths,

Places,

And even friends for many,

Many years.

This elephant remembers calm and shares it wherever it goes.

The elephant notices you and comes closer.

Its eyes are warm and kind.

It gently waves its long trunk,

Hello.

The trunk moves slowly through the air,

Up and down,

Like a deep,

Peaceful breath.

You breathe just like the elephant,

In nice and slow,

And out soft and easy.

Elephants use their trunk for so many different things.

They can pick up tiny leaves or spray cool water to help themselves feel calm and refreshed.

Imagine the elephant gently sprays a mist of cool water into the warm air.

The drops sparkle like tiny stars as they fall.

They land softly around you,

Cooling your skin and helping your whole body relax.

Now,

The elephant lowers itself onto the grass.

Even though it's big,

It rests so carefully.

It shows you that it's okay to take up space,

And it's also okay to rest.

You sit beside the elephant.

You feel safe,

Protected,

And calm.

In the distance,

You hear birds calling softly.

The grass whispers as it moves.

The sun feels warm on your back.

Elephants live in families called herds.

They care deeply for one another.

They help each other when someone is tired,

Or sad,

Or small.

Imagine the elephant beside you sending you a feeling of kindness.

A warm,

Gentle feeling that fills your chest.

It reminds you that you are never alone.

You are cared for,

And you belong.

The elephant begins to sway gently from side to side.

Slowly,

Slowly,

Slowly.

You sway too,

Just in your imagination.

Your shoulders soften.

Your mouth relaxes.

Your hands feel heavy and calm.

Take another slow breath in.

And let it out.

The elephant stands,

And begins to walk again.

But this time,

You are walking together.

Each step is steady.

Each step feels peaceful.

Elephants can walk long distances without rushing.

They teach us that we don't need to hurry through life.

We can move slowly.

And still get where we need to go.

After a while,

The elephant stops and turns to you.

It gently touches your shoulder with its trunk.

A quiet goodbye,

Full of kindness.

You feel calm inside.

You feel strong like the elephant.

You feel gentle like the elephant.

And you feel peaceful in your heart.

Now,

It's time to slowly return.

Feel the ground beneath you.

Notice your breath again.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Wiggle your fingers,

Just a little.

Now,

Wiggle your toes,

Just a little.

And remember,

You can come back to this peaceful feeling whenever you need.

Anywhere,

At any time.

You may continue to rest.

Or,

When you feel ready,

Gently go about your day.

Bye for now,

My friend.
