Welcome to this meditation designed to relax you in moments of anxiety and stress.
Let me help you release worry.
And give your nervous system.
Your mind,
A break from the busy world around you.
You can even use this meditation as a wind down before sleep.
Getting comfortable now.
Wherever you are.
And closing your eyes.
Let's start with a big breath in… and out.
And again.
Breathing in.
And out.
Take a moment to sense where you are right now.
The temperature of the air.
The way the bed,
Sofa or chair beneath you feels Supporting your ways.
And now,
Let's breathe in again.
Hold for 3,
2,
1.
And breathe out.
Again,
Breathing in… Hold for 3,
2,
1.
And breathe out.
How is your body feeling today?
Is there any tension in your body that you can let go of?
Can you relax further into the bed?
So far.
Or chair beneath you now.
Focusing on your shoulders.
Can you drop them down?
A little bit more.
Breathing in again.
Holding for three,
Two,
One.
And breathing out.
Again,
In.
.
.
Hold for three,
Two,
One.
And breathe out.
And now,
As you breathe in whichever way is comfortable for you.
Bring your hands to your face.
And just gently tap your forehead.
Your cheeks.
And if you want to take that further.
You can massage your face.
Your jaw.
Releasing any tension as you go.
Dropping your hands now to your sides.
Let's see if we can yawn.
Allow your body to inhale a nice big yawn.
And release it.
And again.
Even if the yawn doesn't come.
Just pretend to yawn.
Telling your body and mind.
I am relaxed.
I am safe.
Imagine that you are sitting by a campfire.
On a cozy summer's night.
There are stars blanketed across the sky above you.
A thin,
Soft shirt is draped around your shoulders.
You can smell that familiar smoky smell.
On your clothes.
In the air.
There is nothing for you to do here.
Apart from watch the flames flicker and dance.
In front of your eyes.
AMBA.
Gold.
Yellow.
Pops of colour.
Captivate you.
As you remain connected.
In this moment.
Here's what you need to hear today.
You control anxiety.
Enjoy the peace.
Join me again soon.
