I'm four and a half and I love everybody listening to my meditations.
Sometimes Maxie gets a little scared of the dark and sometimes she has scary dreams.
She has big feelings,
Just like you do.
And I know how it feels when you feel sad,
Angry or scared.
And today we're going to talk about feeling scared.
That's right.
We all feel scared sometimes.
It's perfectly normal.
There are things we can do to make us feel better.
It's all right.
You can take a deep breath.
Before you go to sleep again so you don't feel scared or cuddle a teddy bear.
That's a great idea.
Why don't you snuggle your favourite teddy bear right now?
And we can all do some big breaths in and out together.

Another thing that helps us feel better at night is thinking about all the things we love.

You love those things I just said and dream about them forever.

Let's really think about all those things now.
Such happy thoughts.
Imagine a unicorn.
So magical.
And colourful.
What would it feel like to hug one?
What would it feel like?
To ride one.
And imagine the unicorn takes you to the most incredible toy shop.
Filled with every toy you've ever wanted.
You'd never want to leave.
If you got hungry,
You could eat an enormous birthday cake.
What flavour would it be?
Strawberry?
Chocolate?
Or even rainbow flavor.
You can imagine anything tonight that makes you feel happy.
That was so nice.
