This breath practice is designed to foster feelings of love,

Compassion,

And openness from your heart center.

Breathwork can be a valuable practice in opening and connecting with your heart.

So in this practice,

We're going to link movement with your breath.

So find a comfortable position.

You can sit with a straight spine,

Or if you prefer,

You could do this one standing.

Feet planted hip-width distance apart.

Find the place that's best for you and just relax through your gaze.

We'll take a few deep breaths here,

Inhaling as you fill up through your belly,

Out through your ribcage and up into your chest and hold.

And exhale out the mouth,

Releasing a sigh.

Good,

Let's do that again.

Inhale,

Fill up your belly,

Your ribcage into your chest and hold.

And exhale out the mouth,

Releasing a sigh.

One more time.

Inhale,

Filling up the belly,

Your ribcage into your chest,

Holding at the top.

And exhale out the mouth,

Releasing with a sigh.

And then inhale deeply as you guide your attention to this present moment,

Holding again.

And exhale,

Dropping into this moment.

Begin to direct your attention to your heart center by placing both hands,

One over the other on top of your heart.

Inhale with your hands here,

Allowing love and light to enter into this area.

And exhale as you let your body relax.

Inhale slowly and deeply through the nose,

Imagining that you're inhaling love,

Compassion,

And light.

Now slowly blow the exhale out your mouth while your arms begin to open and stretch wide.

Now deep inhale through the nose,

Brings your hands back,

One on top of the other in front of your heart,

Visualizing positive energy being pulled toward you.

Exhale,

Arms go wide as you blow out tightness from your chest.

Inhale,

Hands pull into your heart as though you were drawing love right into you.

Exhale as arms go wide open in an offering of love and compassion.

Inhale draws energy,

Light into your heart center.

Exhale as that energy from within radiance out into the world surrounding.

Inhale into the radiant light within you as your hands draw close.

And exhale as you open yourself up to love.

Keep going,

Inhaling,

Sinking your breath to the rhythm of your heart.

And exhaling as you feel this harmonious connection between the movement in your breath.

Inhale,

Flow into the balance of love within you.

And notice as you exhale this cycle of love,

Of offering out and receiving in.

And with each inhale,

Visualize this light radiating from your heart,

Just growing and expanding.

And as you exhale,

Let that spill out into the world.

Inhale,

Filling the entire chest,

Extending beyond the body the sense of love and compassion for all that is.

And as you exhale,

Offer the light to the world.

Inhale as you embrace gratitude.

And then exhale that feeling of gratitude out with open arms.

Let's do one more round here.

Inhaling the light and love and compassion for all things.

And exhaling and offering out,

Shining out from your heart center to the world.

And then as you inhale,

Hands will come to rest once again,

One on top of the other,

And rest at your heart center.

And keeping your breath deep into your center,

Continue to bathe in this heart-opening breath,

Staying connected to all of the gratitude and love that is pouring out from you,

All of the love that you have to offer,

The compassion for humanity.

And I invite you to stay and breathe here as long as feels good for you and your beautiful open heart.

And when you feel guided,

You can begin to blink your eyes open,

Send that love out into the world,

And have a blessed day.

My name is Mary of the Breath Mindset.

And I thank you for taking the time to breathe with me here today.
