Good morning.
And welcome.
I'm really glad you've chosen to be here to begin your day.
Before the world starts asking things of you.
Your attention is pulled in a dozen different directions.
Let's just.
Spend a few moments together.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
.
.
Don't need to know exactly what today will bring.
.
.
Right now.
All you need to do.
Is arrive.
And take a slow comfortable breath in and let it go.
Another gentle breath in,
And the long flowing easy breath out.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Relax your jaw.
Let your whole face become gentle.
Feeling support beneath you.
And knowing that,
For these next few moments.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
The mind begins to settle.
Notice.
How this morning feels.
Without judging it all.
Trying to change it in any way.
Perhaps.
You feel rested.
Perhaps.
You were still carrying tiredness.
Maybe there's excitement or uncertainty.
Whatever is here.
Is welcome.
Just notice.
One of the most beautiful things about each morning is that it offers us choice.
Not choice about everything that will happen.
Life doesn't work like that.
We can choose.
How we'd like to meet.
Today.
We can choose the.
Qualities.
We'd like to bring with us.
And sometimes.
That is enough.
Gently change.
The direction.
Of the whole day ahead.
So,
I'd like to invite you to ask yourself,
Simple question.
How do I want to move through today?
Not what do I need to achieve or what needs fixing.
How do I want to be?
Perhaps one word comes to mind… Calm.
Patient.
Open.
Curious.
Confident,
Steady,
Hopeful.
Or maybe your own word arrives.
There is no right answer.
Just simply notice.
What feels true.
And authentic.
For you today.
If you find no word appears,
That's perfectly okay.
You might simply choose to meet today with gentleness.
And sometimes.
That is the intention.
We need the most.
You you Now quietly repeat your intention to yourself.
Slowly.
.
.
As though you're planting a small seed.
For example.
Today.
I choose patience.
Today.
I choose kindness.
Or simply today.
I choose peace.
Allow your own word or words to settle naturally.
You you Imagine carrying that intention with you as you move through the hours ahead today.
Picture yourself making breakfast,
Driving,
Walking,
Working.
Speaking with someone you love.
Just moving through the ordinary moments.
And quietly.
In the background.
Your intention.
Remains with you.
Not demanding your attention just yet.
Gently nudging.
And guiding it.
There may be moments today where things don't quite go to plan.
Perhaps you'll feel rushed.
Perhaps you'll forget your intention completely.
And that's okay.
Know that isn't failure.
Because every moment counts.
Gives you another opportunity to remember.
Another opportunity to begin again.
And at the end of the day,
That's all intention really is.
A gentle returning.
Again.
And again.
Take another slow breath in now.
And breathe out with ease.
Feeling your body waking.
Feel the quiet steadiness you've created in these few moments.
Notice that nothing outside of you needed to change for this feeling to begin.
It started here.
Within you.
Now,
As we come toward the end of our practice today,
Silently repeat your intention one final time.
Let the words settle into your heart and trust.
That they will quietly accompany you throughout today.
Take one deep breath in now.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
And if your eyes have been closed,
Slowly allow them to open.
Your intention with you.
.
.
Knot is something you have to hold on to tightly.
Your intention.
As a quiet.
Compassion.
A gentle reminder of how you really want to meet today.
Thank you for spending these moments with me.
I hope your day unfolds with a little more presence.
A little more ease.
Exactly.
What you need.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Go in peace.
Namaste.
