Hello.
And welcome.
Thank you for joining me.
My name.
Is Mark Rowland.
Just take a moment now to.
.
.
Settle into a comfortable position.
And if it feels comfortable.
Allow your eyes to close,
And simply notice.
That You are here.
There is nowhere else you need to be at the moment.
Nothing you need to solve for these next few minutes just yet.
This breath,
This moment.
Take a slow breath in and along.
Easy breath out,
Again.
Breathing in.
.
.
And letting the breath flow out.
Let your shoulders soften in,
And clench your jaw.
Feeling the support beneath you.
Knowing for these next few moments,
You don't need to carry everything.
Sometimes,
We look back over our lives and begin telling ourselves a story.
I should have started sooner.
I've missed my chance.
If only I had made different choices.
Perhaps you have had thoughts like these.
Most of us have.
But today.
I'd like to offer you a different possibility.
Isn't too late.
It isn't too late to learn something new.
It isn't too late to care for yourself more kindly.
It isn't too late to change direction.
And it isn't too late to begin again.
The past has shaped you,
But it doesn't have to decide what comes next.
People in their 30s discover careers that finally feel meaningful.
Some in their 40s returned to education.
Learn new skills or choose a completely different path in life.
People in their 50s,
Build successful businesses,
Write books or finally give themselves permission to follow a long forgotten dream.
Those in their sixties discover new passions,
Travel,
They make new friends,
Fall in love or simply begin living in a way that feels more authentic to who they are.
Folk in their 70s and beyond continue to grow,
To contribute,
To create,
To laugh and to surprise themselves and others.
You see,
Growth doesn't belong to one decade of life.
Neither does hope.
There is no age at which curiosity expires.
There is no birthday that whispers,
OK,
That's enough now.
As long as you are here,
Life is still unfolding.
Take another slow breath in.
And breathe out gently.
Imagine that,
With every breath out,
You're releasing the belief.
That you have somehow fallen behind.
Breathing out.
.
.
I am letting go of the idea that I am too late.
Breathing in.
I am open to what is still possible.
Think of nature for a moment.
An oak tree grows for decades and decades.
Some flowers bloom early in spring.
Others wait until the height of summer.
Some trees hold on to their blossoms long after others have finished.
Nature isn't Russian.
Nature is Russian.
Isn't comparing everything unfolds in its own season.
And perhaps you are too.
Bring a hand to your heart if that feels comfortable.
Feeling the gentle rhythm beneath your hands.
Your heart isn't asking why you didn't start five years ago.
It isn't keeping school.
Simply offers another heartbeat.
Another breath.
Another opportunity.
To begin.
Silently repeat these words.
It isn't too late.
I haven't missed my life.
There is still time.
One small step.
Is enough.
You don't have to change everything today,
And you don't need to know every step ahead.
And you certainly don't have to catch up with anyone else.
You only need to take the next small step that feels true for you.
Sometimes,
The smallest of beginnings become the biggest turning points.
Imagine yourself a few months from now.
Looking back at this very moment.
Would that future version of you be grateful that you waited?
Or grateful that today.
.
.
Was the day.
You gently begun.
Allow whatever answer comes to arise without any judgment.
Now take one final deep breath in … and slowly breathe out.
.
.
Feel the ground supporting you.
Feel the air around you.
Feel yourself here.
Still growing.
Still learning.
Still becoming.
And remember.
Long as you're breathing life is still inviting you forward.
Not yesterday,
Or not someday,
Today.
When you're ready,
Begin to notice the room around you once more.
Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes and perhaps roll your shoulders if that's comfortable and,
In your own time,
Allow your eyes to open.
Thank you so much for spending these few moments with me.
I hope you leave with a simple reminder that stays with you throughout your day and beyond.
It isn't too late.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Go in peace.
Namaste.
