Thank you for joining me this morning for this meditation.
Before the day begins,
Before the world outside rushes in,
Take this time to meet yourself fully,
Gently and with an open heart.
You are waking into a new day,
A fresh canvas,
A brand new space of limitless possibility.
How you greet this moment,
How you breathe into this new beginning will set the tone for all that follows.
So let's begin with stillness,
Let us begin with presence,
Let us begin with love.
Find a comfortable seat or remain in the warmth of your bed and place one hand on your heart,
Place the other on your belly and close your eyes.
Take a deep,
Full breath in,
Let your belly expand,
Your ribs widen,
Your chest lift and as you exhale,
Release,
Soften,
Surrender.
Once again,
A slow,
Deep inhale,
Filling your body with light,
With energy and exhale,
Melting fully into the moment.
This is your time,
This is your space,
This is your beginning.
Feel the quiet hum of your breath,
The steady rise and fall,
Let it anchor you,
Hold you,
Remind you that you are safe,
You are here and you are whole.
As the world stirs waking up around you,
I invite you to listen,
Not to the noise outside but to the voice within.
There is a place inside you that is soft,
Wise and knowing,
A voice that whispers not with fear but with pure love.
And this morning we will choose to listen,
Breathe in deeply as if you are drinking in life itself,
Breathe in possibility,
Breathe in joy.
And as you exhale,
Let go of what was,
Let go of yesterday,
Let go of any weight you no longer wish to carry.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your mind clear and let your heart open wide.
You are standing at the threshold of a new day,
A brand new opportunity to choose how you will meet this world.
So,
Ask yourself gently,
How do I wish to feel today?
Perhaps you wish to feel peaceful,
Strong,
Kind,
Inspired?
Perhaps you wish to move through this day with ease,
With gratitude,
With an open heart?
Whatever your answer,
Breathe it in now,
Let it settle into the deepest part of you.
You are not just waiting for the day to happen to you,
You are stepping into it with intention,
With presence,
With love.
So,
Let's affirm this together,
Repeat silently or aloud if you wish.
I welcome this new day with an open heart.
I am grateful for the breath that fills me,
For the life that moves through me.
I meet today with ease,
With clarity and with trust.
I am worthy of the joy that is waiting for me.
I am ready.
Feel those words sink in,
Let them become part of you.
There is nothing you must prove,
Nothing you must chase,
Simply by being here,
By choosing to listen,
By choosing to lead with love,
You are always enough.
Now,
With your next breath,
Imagine a golden light surrounding you,
Wrapping you in warmth,
In safety,
In a boundless love.
This is the light of your own being,
This is the energy you will carry with you today.
Feel it fill your body,
Expanding through your heart,
Your chest,
Your arms,
Your legs.
Radiating outward,
Touching everything you will meet today.
Know that wherever you go,
Whatever unfolds today,
You can return to this space,
You can return to your breath,
To your intention,
To your love,
To the quiet wisdom within yourself.
