Mindful Breathing with Music,
Relaxation Break Welcome to this Relaxation Break with Mindful Breathing with Music.
This was designed to provide guidance for de-stressing your body and mind by using first a meditative narrative and afterward inviting some soothing music to flow through your entire being.
This island of peace and relaxation can be done any place that is quiet.
So,
Let's get ready for letting a feeling of calm and rest enter body and mind.
We invite you to get into a comfortable position,
However it feels right,
Right now.
Feel free to close your eyes partially or completely if you feel like it.
And now,
For a few minutes the day's worries and cares are put aside as you begin to relax.
And take two slow deep breaths in with me.
Breathe in through the nose.
And let the breath go out slowly through the mouth.
One more time.
Breathe in.
And release the breath.
And keep breathing long,
Slow breaths now on your own.
And now observing how your abdomen expands outward while you breathe in.
And when you breathe out,
How the abdominal muscles return to their original position.
Breathe in.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
And just observe what is happening in your body.
Give yourself the time you need.
Now you will hear some soothing music.
You may want to either just breathe with the music or you might wish to let some of the words of the meditation linger for a while as the music plays.
There is no right or wrong,
Only what you need right now.
Breathe and let the music flow.
