Mindful Breathing with Music,
Session Six.
During this session,
We're once again going to give ourselves the gift of deep abdominal breathing using images and music.
Don't forget that the more you practice,
The greater imprint of these exercises on your thoughts,
Feelings,
And behaviors we'll have.
Get into a comfortable sitting or lying down position.
This is the place and position that you're going to feel the most comfortable.
Your warm nest,
It may be different from yesterday's or the day before's.
How you feel best right now.
Make sure that your spine is straight but not stiff.
Take a couple of big deep breaths with me.
Now settle in.
If you feel the need,
Place both hands in the middle of your abdomen,
About level with your pelvic bones,
And notice your inhalations and your exhalations.
Now let go of the structured breathing.
Take a couple of big breaths and then breathe normally while in this relaxed state.
Give yourself the time you need.
Now we're going to listen to some relaxing music again.
Feel free to adjust the volume to your needs.
Let the music take you to where you need to go.
While feeling the music in your body,
Notice the sensations you're feeling and let the music flow.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
And continue to breathe with the music as long as it feels good while the music plays.
