Sing: My Voice, My Home
This is an invitation to connect with our unique voice. The sound of our voice is a bridge back home to ourselves. When we hum, chant or sing, the vibrations stimulate our vagus nerve, sending signals which promote relaxation and reduce anxiety. Our voice has the healing power to calm our mind, soothe our body and help regulate our nervous system. As you hum or sing this, place your hands on your chest and lower abdomen if it feels right and feel the vibrations. Do you notice any shifts in your body or mind? ‘My voice brings me back home.
