Welcome to your practice.

Today I'll be guiding you through a short meditation that you can use at any time of the day when you're in need of a little reset and a recharge.

So often we are pulled in many directions,

Meaning that our energy can feel depleted.

So the idea of this meditation is an opportunity to pause,

To reconnect with your body,

Your breath,

So that even after a short time you can continue with your day with a little bit more calm,

Clarity and ease.

Find your way now into a comfortable shape.

You could be seated on the floor,

In a chair or even lying down.

Find your beginning.

Begin to softly land into your space,

Into your body,

Into this moment.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose and a soft sigh out through the mouth.

As you settle into your space,

Take these first few moments to feel totally supported.

Supported by the ground,

By your breath and by the simple act of being here.

Let this time be an invitation to soften your edges to find a little bit more ease and to honour however you have shown up today.

Make space for it all.

As you bring your awareness now to the space between your eyebrows,

Your third eye can you consciously soften into that space smoothing the brow releasing all the tiny muscles around the eye unclenching the jaw shoulders melting down away from the ears.

As you drop a little deeper here allow the external world to begin to fade a little more to become a little less relevant for all that matters in this moment is that you are here.

Begin to turn your awareness to your breath.

The simplicity of the breath moving in and the breath moving out.

You need to change.

Just be soothed by the rhythm of your own breath.

Trusting in the rhythm of your own breath.

When the mind begins to wander anchoring your awareness on the breath moving in and the breath moving out.

Noticing the breath in your nostrils the cooler air on your inhale the slightly warmer air on your exhale.

Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.

Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your belly as you breathe.

Conscious breath softening and surrendering deeper into this moment.

Let the breath carry nourishment to every cell every tissue,

Every corner of your being.

Here there is no need to do anything other than to receive your breath.

Let your mind soften your heart open and the body sink into ease.

Noticing how you feel the quiet hum of your energy settled,

Calm.

Take a moment to feel the quiet you've created this soft steady rhythm of breath and of being.

This moment asks for nothing but gives you everything in return.

Here you've nourished more than your mind and your body.

You've fed the spaces within you that are so often overlooked the places that thrive not on striving but on slowing on listening on simply being.

Carry this nourishment with you a reminder that you can pause you can soften you can reset because the breath you found here is always waiting for you to return.
