Okay,
Taking a deep breath.
Inhaling to bring your awareness into this body.
And exhaling to relax.
Welcoming the tension.
To release in every exhaling breath.
Remembering.
That this physical body of yours is primarily made up of water.
Your body is 80% water.
And that water.
Is holding on to things.
That water is holding on to effort.
And trying and intentions.
The water in your body is holding on to memories.
Memories of past traumas or dramas.
Or grief.
Judgments.
The water holds regret and resentment.
The water in your body is holding a signature of toxins past and present.
That water vibrates with any pathogens in your body,
Past or present.
What if our water didn't have to hold so much?
When you're ready,
Take a deep inhaling breath.
And as you exhale,
Welcome all the water in your body.
To relax into a puddle.
The water in your body is resting in a puddle.
It's letting go of all that it's been holding.
It all forms sediment.
And starts to flow down to the bottom of the puddle.
Whatever you were holding.
Sinking down to the bottom.
No more trying,
No more effort.
The water in your body can just simply be.
And what is it that is holding the water?
If the water doesn't have to hold itself.
It's this physical body that is providing the form.
In a puddle.
The earth around it is holding that water.
The earth provides the bottom of the puddle and the sides of the puddle.
It gives form and stability and structure to the water.
So that the water doesn't have to do it itself.
And where the earth falls away,
The water simply flows.
It moves and shifts.
Forming a stream.
And you can feel those streams within your body.
Water flowing through your blood vessels.
Through your veins.
And arteries.
Feeling flow.
With a gentleness and ease.
The water in your body does not have to try.
It can simply rest.
As your earth holds it.
It can flow.
When there are opportunities.
Finding the easiest path.
To gently flow.
The water in your body.
Picks up what does not serve you and washes it away.
Feeling as water comes in through the crown of your head.
And it meanders through your body.
Cleansing.
Picking up what does not serve you.
Washing it out the bottoms of your feet and the tips of your toes.
Welcoming this water to continuously enter through the crown.
Flowing through the body and out the bottoms of the feet.
Clearing what does not serve you.
The water is finding those big emotions.
Washing them away.
Processing them along the way.
The water is very quick to identify.
What serves you and what does not.
It finds the toxins and pulls them through.
Water is washing through your brain and all of these thoughts.
The brain has this water wheel.
That is taking the water.
Spinning the wheel.
Thinking,
Thinking,
Thinking,
Thinking.
And there's an invitation.
For this water wheel to rest.
That the water can simply flow.
Without the spinning.
So the water coming in through your crown.
Simply switches directions.
It's not falling on the water wheel anymore.
A much more simple flow.
Flowing over the waterfall.
Down through the body.
Sometimes the water forms a vortex.
Spinning around your body downward.
Sometimes the water does a free fall.
A waterfall all the way from the head to the feet.
Sometimes the water meanders gently.
Through all of your cells.
The water takes whatever path.
The earth has laid out.
The earth are those.
Boulders and rocks and the waterfall and stream.
It's the sand.
And the soil.
Is our earth an obstruction or is it a support?
Is our earth.
Holding space for the water.
Or trying to force it through a funnel.
Or welcoming your Earth.
To feel balanced.
Supported.
Nurtured.
Stable.
So that we don't have to force the water.
The water can simply flow.
There's a message from the water.
But if we can stop.
Trying to control it.
Stop trying to direct it.
At this water.
Can do so much good just simply flowing.
We witness the water flowing through the irrigation ditches in the farmlands.
Soaking into the earth.
And from that earth,
Green grasses.
Beautiful flowers.
Food and crops.
When the water is able to simply flow.
It allows things to grow.
Provides nourishment for your wood.
Welcoming you to.
Be creative.
To build,
To grow,
To change.
When our water is allowed to just be.
Then all of the growth can begin to happen.
Watching this meandering stream.
Surrounded by green grasses.
And all of the wildlife.
From insects to bears.
All of the animals being attracted to the stream of water.
It becomes a magnet.
When it flows.
The rocky shores,
The powerful oceans.
You find.
That the growth is much less.
Algae does not grow.
On a wild ocean.
The insects don't land on the top of the water.
In a raging ocean.
But when you're water,
It can be peaceful.
And calm.
And easeful and flowing.
Then there can be more flow and growth.
More attracting.
Attracting of.
All that is.
As we witness this water flowing from your head down to your feet.
We ask that it erode.
Some of the obstructions.
In this body.
We welcome puddles to form.
In the body.
Where the water can rest.
We welcome an easeful way of moving through life.
And you might start to notice your fire at your heart.
Fire of your essence.
Your excitement,
Your joy.
What lights you up.
Your passions.
We find that Trying to control our water just puts out the fire.
The raging ocean.
That chaos in the ocean.
Completely.
Annihilates your fire.
There's no way for that fire to.
.
.
Survive this water flow.
But in the peaceful,
Calm,
Easeful flow of your water.
Your fire can burn brightly.
You can have joy and excitement and expansiveness.
And your fire.
Boils this water into steam.
Bringing your vitality.
Bringing your life force up into the steam,
Into the air.
Where you're able to create in a totally new way.
When your water is in.
The spaces of your body.
Not damp.
But invigorated,
Steamy.
It brings your liveliness.
Throughout this body.
Your ease and flow carries your passions to new heights.
Carries your laughter.
And your joy.
When we can flow with ease.
Even the water can carry your heat.
Welcoming ourselves to stop trying so hard.
To relax.
To let go of the holding.
To simply be.
And then we get to witness.
The beauty.
And the magic of this flow in our lives.
And I bow to the Tao and all things,
To all the teachers before me.
And to you.
For being a bright light in this world.
I thank you for being here.
