Welcome to day four of Grace and Gratitude.
Today's focus is gratitude for connection.
Connection is one of the most generous gifts we receive in this life.
The people who walk with us,
The moments that shape us,
The quiet supports we didn't even know were holding us together.
Gratitude gently turns our attention towards these threads of belonging,
Softening us back into the truth that we were never meant to do any of this alone.
We so often feel so alone.
We so often hesitate to reach out for help.
We so often don't know where our community is,
But it is there.
And when we pause long enough to notice who and what has carried us,
Is carrying us,
Our heart naturally opens,
Widening its capacity to give and receive.
And in that widening,
We remember how deeply we are already held and we're woven into a tapestry of care that continues to reveal itself breath by breath.
We care and we are cared for.
Allow your heart to remember the people,
Places,
And experiences that have carried you to this moment.
Gratitude helps those invisible threads shimmer into view.
As we prepare to meditate together,
Take a moment to consider today's centering thought.
I am held by threads of belonging,
Seen and unseen.
This honors the network of support that has shaped your life and helped you become who you are today.
I am held by threads of belonging,
Seen and unseen.
Close your eyes softly,
Rest your hands gently on your knees,
Palms up in a gesture of openness and receiving,
Or palms down if grounding feels right for you today.
Let's gently introduce the mantra,
I belong.
I belong.
I belong.
I belong.
Whenever you find yourself distracted by thoughts,
Noises,
Feelings,
Or anything in your environment,
Just gently invite your focus back to the mantra,
To your breath,
And to this present moment.
Please continue with your meditation.
I'll mind the time,
Starting and ending with a soft bell.
It's time to release the mantra.
Sit restfully for a few moments,
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Carry our centering thought with you throughout the day.
I am held by threads of belonging,
Seen and unseen.
May you move through your day rooted in grace,
Growing toward what's calling you next.
Thank you so much for your practice.
