Welcome.
I'm so grateful you're here.
This series was crafted as a quiet companion for anyone who's navigating transition,
Who's looking to deepen their inner practice,
Or simply finding their way back home to themselves.
Each of the short meditations is an invitation to pause,
Breathe,
And notice the grace that's threaded throughout your entire life,
Even in the moments that feel uncertain or unsteady.
I come to this space as a lifelong spiritual seeker,
A student of yoga and meditation,
A woman who has navigated and still navigating those childhood wounds we all carry,
Reinvented myself,
I'm a mom,
I'm in recovery,
I'm navigating a cancer journey,
I'm a grandma,
And I have a career that's grounded in service.
My meditation practice has carried me through every season,
And my hope is that these meditations will offer you the same comfort,
Clarity,
Hope,
And a sense of peace.
Over the next seven days,
We'll explore gratitude in its many forms.
Gratitude as breath,
Gratitude as softness,
Gratitude as truth-telling,
Gratitude as awakening,
And gratitude as quiet courage.
You can listen any time of day,
And you can come exactly as you are.
Thanks so much in advance for taking this journey with me.
My prayer is that your practice finds new spaces of trust,
Presence,
And the grace that is within you.
May you move through your day rooted in grace,
Growing towards what's calling you next.
So let's begin with day one,
Gratitude for this breath.
Take a moment now to arrive here just as you are.
Gratitude often begins in the very smallest of places,
Not in imperfection,
Not in achievement,
But in this simple inhale and exhale.
The breath really is our gentle teacher.
It reminds us that we're continually renewed,
Continually supported without needing to try or change anything.
This breath,
The one you're taking right now,
Is a quiet gift.
It asks nothing of you.
It doesn't need you to be calm or centered or grounded.
It simply meets you right where you are,
And it always has.
Every inhale opens a small doorway to possibility,
And every exhale softens what's no longer needed.
Gratitude begins right here in this unadorned moment where life continues to sustain you even when you've forgotten to notice.
As we prepare to meditate together,
Let's take a moment to consider our centering thought.
Each breath is a quiet blessing,
A reminder that I am alive and becoming.
This thought invites you to feel sacredness of simply being here,
Held,
Supported,
Breathed by life itself.
Now,
Let's get ready.
Rest your hands gently on your knees,
Palms up in a gesture of openness or receiving,
Or palms down if grounding feels right for you today.
Take your seat of quiet dignity,
And gently close your eyes.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to become more deeply relaxed.
Let yourself be softened by your breathing.
Every inhale is a beginning.
Every exhale is a letting go.
Each one holds a whisper of gratitude.
Now,
Let's gently introduce the mantra.
Thank you.
Thank you.
With each repetition,
Let your body,
Mind,
And spirit rest in a more expanded state of awareness.
Whenever your mind wanders,
Just gently guide it back to the mantra,
To your breath,
To this present moment.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Please continue with your meditation.
I'll watch the time,
Beginning and ending with a soft bell.
It's time to release the mantra.
Sit restfully for a few moments.
When you feel ready,
Open your eyes.
As you continue with your day,
Hold our centering thought closely.
Each breath is a quiet blessing,
A reminder that I am alive and becoming.
May you move through your day rooted in grace,
Growing toward what's calling you next.
Thank you so much for your practice today.
