This is the Sower in the Soils,
A liberating humanity,
Christ-centered meditation.
In the parable of the Sower in the Soils,
Christ teaches that what is given can only grow where it is received,
Rooted,
And given space,
And that the condition of the heart determines what is able to take hold and bear fruit.
This meditation is a time to become aware of your inner state and to allow your heart to become open,
Deep,
So that what is true can enter,
Remain,
And grow within you.
Sit comfortably.
Close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Deep breath in.
Let your breathing settle into a steady rhythm.
As you breathe in,
Receive life.
As you breathe out,
Soften.
Now,
Quietly say a prayer in your heart,
A prayer of openness,
A prayer to receive what is true.
Invite divine protection of this space.
Only then bring your awareness to your heart.
Feel the space there.
Now,
Gently become aware of your inner state.
Notice where the truth of God has been staying on the surface,
Where things pass through.
Gently allow your heart to soften.
Allow space for pure truth to enter.
Now,
Notice where something has begun within you,
A truth from God,
But it didn't.
Something you felt,
Something you saw clearly,
Something that started but did not take root.
Bring your awareness to your heart and allow the truth of God to move deep where your attention has been scattered,
Your energy has been divided,
Where your heart feels crowded,
Where too many things of this world where the truth of God had no space to grow.
Just observe without needing to change anything yet.
Gently allow space to open.
Let the things of this world begin to fall away.
Let your inner space become open to the truth of God,
Not just as an idea but as something alive within you.
Now,
Feel,
Receive,
Breathing,
Receiving,
And allowing.
Now,
Gently sense this beginning to move into your life.
It shows in how you respond.
Quietly say within,
I am open.
I allow what is true to take root.
Let your awareness remain clear.
Let what is true continue to grow.
Receiving and allowing.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Feel the air around you.
