This is The Wise and the Foolish Builders,
A liberating humanity,
Christ-centered meditation.
Christ tells the story of two people who build their homes,
One on a strong foundation and the other on unstable ground.
When pressure comes,
One remains standing while the other cannot hold.
This meditation is a time to become aware of what you are building your life upon.
Sit comfortably,
Close your eyes,
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Deep breath in and slow breath out.
Let your breathing settle into a steady rhythm.
As you breathe in,
Receive peace.
As you breathe out,
Release tension.
Now,
Quietly say a prayer in your heart.
A prayer for clarity.
A prayer for alignment.
A prayer to build your life on what is true and rooted in God.
Invite divine protection of this space.
Only the pure love of God is present.
Now,
Gently become aware of your life.
The patterns you live by.
The decisions you make.
Just observe.
Without judgment.
Notice something deeper.
What are you building on?
What supports your choices?
What anchors your actions?
Bring your awareness back to your heart.
With each inhale,
Receive peace.
With each exhale,
Soften.
Gently sense what feels steady within you.
What remains the same.
Even when circumstances change.
Feel that.
This is your firm foundation.
The presence of God within you.
Notice the contrast.
What feels unstable?
What shifts based on outcomes?
What depends on approval?
Or control?
Just observe.
Without needing to fix anything.
Now,
Return again to your heart.
And feel that steady presence.
Unmoving.
Unshaken.
Always there.
Rooted in the love of Christ.
Now,
Breathe into your heart.
With each inhale,
Receive stability.
With each exhale,
Remain grounded in Christ.
Inhale.
Receive stability.
Exhale.
Grounded in Christ.
Inhale.
Receive stability.
Exhale.
Grounded in Christ.
Continue breathing.
Stay grounded.
Take one more deep breath in.
Open your eyes gently.
Carry this with you.
Build on a strong foundation.
Stand in the presence of God.
Remain grounded.
In all things.
