Welcome to this meditation for relaxation and letting go of any stress or worries and to find inner peace and calm.

And you can find somewhere quiet and comfortable,

Either sitting on a chair or lying down in a position that feels comfortable to you and gently close your eyes and as you settle in this present moment,

You can leave behind any thoughts or worries from the day and bring in focus now to your breath,

Breathing in through your nose,

Allowing your chest and abdomen to expand,

Holding the breath for a brief moment and then exhaling slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension that you may have been holding and you can continue to breathe deeply and slowly,

Rhythmically in this way for a few moments,

The weight of gravity drawing you down towards the ground,

Allowing any tension you may have been holding to release itself,

Sinking deeper and deeper into yourself,

Envisioning a serene place where you can rest and draw upon its resources to replenish and rejuvenate,

Enjoying this secure place,

You can even begin to envision a radiant and cleansing light above you,

Shimmering with pure energy,

Picture this light as a vibrant,

Luminescent glow,

Ready to envelop and cleanse every part of your being and as you breathe in,

Feel the light descending,

Surrounding the crown of your head with each breath,

Sense the warmth and brilliance of this light as it begins to permeate your body,

Gradually moving downward,

Imagine the light flowing through your forehead,

Releasing any lingering thoughts or worries,

Let the light soften and cleanse your face,

Gently moving down your cheeks and your jaw,

Relaxing more and more,

Sense the light moving down your throat,

Clearing away any unspoken words or tensions as it continues its descent,

Feel it enveloping your chest,

Releasing any burdens and inviting in a sense of peace and calm,

Visualise the light reaching your stomach,

Cleansing and purifying any lingering stress or unease,

Let it flow through your hips,

Legs,

Down to your toes,

Washing away any tension with each breath,

As the light moves through you,

Imagine it also extending beyond your physical body,

Creating a protective and revitalising aura around you,

Allow this radiance with each breath,

Feel this cleansing light purify not only your body but also your mind and spirit,

Filling you with positivity,

Sense any negativity dissipating,

Leaving you with a sense of renewed clarity and calmness,

Take a moment to bask in the comforting embrace of this cleansing light,

Appreciating the purity and serenity it brings to you,

Allow the awareness of your physical wellbeing to expand and flourish,

And maybe even notice how effortlessly your moods uplift,

Carrying with them a newfound sense of optimism,

Maybe even noticing the challenges that once appeared as problems are now perceived as manageable opportunities for growth and learning,

You may notice a transformative shift occurring,

The profound shifts in your wellbeing become more and more evident,

As you look back at your journey,

It's often the case that people notice positive changes unfolding in life,

And the specifics of these improvements vary from person to person,

The unique ways in which this transformation takes place,

But what remains consistent is the gradual enhancement of your inner strength,

In the future how maintaining yourself just becomes natural,

Feel the strength in recognising the difference,

Fostering a determination to continue making positive changes in your life,

Within yourself,

There's a continuous growth of resources,

Strengths,

Skills,

Unfolding like a bloom,

In response to your own attentive care,

This simple act of self care has become your secret to unlocking potential,
