It's time now for the Twelve Meridian Internal Qigong as we use the power of mind-body connection to flow energy through the twelve primary acupuncture meridians,
Unobstructing the free-flowing life-force energy known as qi,
Reduces stress and aches,
Balances and improves body-system functions,
And balances emotions,
All improving and providing a calm,
Uplifted,
Well-grounded energy.
Aloha,
And thank you for being here.
I am Leah Siebert,
Your Acupuncturist Reiki Master,
And I am honored that you have chosen to join me today.
Please remember to not listen to guided meditations while driving or doing anything else that requires your full focus.
Each meridian's energy flows in a specific direction,
Either starting or ending at fingers or toes,
To create a flowing circuitry throughout the body.
Each limb has three yin meridians and three yang meridians.
In general,
Yin is associated with cooling,
Calming,
Fluids,
Organs that are self-contained,
And more feminine hormonal functions.
Yang is associated with warming,
Energizing,
Organs that relate to passage such as digestive functions and with hormonal functions,
Often considered to be the more masculine,
Though we all know that all humans have and need hormones of both yin and yang functions,
Just in subtly different balance.
In Qigong,
We trust our body's natural wisdom to find the balance that is for our personal best health,
Just as we trust our body to innately know how to miraculously heal a small cut or fractured bone.
Stress,
Discomfort,
Chronic aches,
Diseases that are felt when Qi gets blocked or obstructed.
Obstructions can result for many reasons,
From bad or irregular diet or sleep patterns,
To emotions and stressors that are chronic or traumatic.
To unlock and flow our body's Qi circuitry today,
We will be tying the mind-body directed movement with our breath.
This internal Qigong meditation can be done in any position that is comfortable,
Standing,
Sitting or lying down,
With limbs uncrossed and a gentle smile on your face.
The yin meridians traveling the inner foot,
Leg to abdomen and chest are the spleen,
Liver and kidney.
The yin meridians traveling chest to armpit,
Through inner arm to fingertips are lung,
Pericardium,
Heart.
The yang meridians traveling fingertips,
Over arm top to shoulders,
To side of neck,
Face,
Are large intestine,
Triple warmer,
And small intestine.
The yang meridians traveling from eyes over face,
Then over head to back of neck,
Trunk,
To the back and side of legs,
To toes,
Are the stomach,
Urinary bladder,
And gallbladder.
It's time now to follow along with deep,
Well-natural,
Calm breaths,
Like the gentle deep breath and sigh you may unconsciously breathe,
As settling in for deep relaxation and rest.

To finish now,
Place one hand on your upper abdomen just below or at the lower sternum and the other hand with thumb on belly button and palm on lower abdomen.
Breathe in acquired qi,
Acquired life force to feel it gathered beneath the upper hand on the lower lung,
Upper abdomen area.
As you slowly exhale,
Feel that acquired life force sink down to the dantian beneath the lower palm,
A couple of inches below the belly button.
This is your treasure box,
Storing your qi,
Your longevity for health,
Strength and well-being into your ancestral energy lifespan.
Again,
Breathe in calmly and deeply,
Gathering acquired life force and qi into the upper abdomen.
Again,
As you slowly exhale,
Feel the acquired qi sink and anchor into your dantian of the abdomen and kidney region,
A bit below the umbilicus deep inside,
Anchoring grounding life force energy.
Ending now with a final gather and anchoring breath,
Breathe in calmly and deeply and gather acquired qi,
Acquired life force into the upper abdomen.
And as you slowly exhale,
Feel the acquired qi sink and anchor into your dantian of the abdomen and kidneys region,
A bit below the umbilicus deep inside,
Anchoring grounding life energy.
Remember throughout your day,
You can reclaim and gain this calm life force with keeping a gentle smile on your face.
With a couple of life force breaths to release,
Rebalance and strengthen.
The more you practice this breath,
This meditation,
The more automatically and quickly you will reground and strengthen yourself in any location,
In any situation.
Breathe,
Release,
Ground,
Balance.
Thank you again for joining me.
