Hey lovely!
Lauren here.
In this meditation.
We're going to explore boundaries.
And compassion.
For you.
For your day.
For your sense of peace,
Embracing compassion and boundaries,
A morning meditation for the soul.
But of course,
If you wish to do so,
You can use this to sleep.
To relax.
Or simply to let go.
Take a moment to find a comfortable position.
Whether you're seated or lying down,
Do what suits you.
And when you're ready,
Let's start.
Sit down or lie down comfortably.
Allow your eyes to gently close and breathe.
We are going to suggest a type of breathing.
However,
Be mindful.
That this practice is about you.
So you choose.
The method of breathing that suits you.
Breathe in through your nose.
Filling your lungs completely.
Hold the breath.
For a moment.
Just a moment and then exhale slowly.
Through your mouth.
Let go of any tension.
You may be holding.
Allowing your body to relax.
With each breath.
Feel that aha moment,
That moment of Now imagine envision yourself in a serene morning setting.
Looking out over a beautiful property.
And amazing.
Garden,
A majestic garden.
Landscape.
You can see the mist.
Over the hills,
Hanging softly in the air.
Wrapping the world in a gentle embrace.
A soft hug.
You can hear the soft rustle of leaves,
And perhaps.
.
.
The distant chirping of birds.
Welcome the day.
Imagine the cool crispness of the morning.
How does it feel on your skin?
Imagine.
Rejuvenating?
Refreshing.
Feel the ambience.
Whatever has occurred prior to this moment.
It is over.
It is finished.
The only place that memories live are in your mind.
You control your mind.
Breathe.
Let memory go.
As you take in this tranquil scene.
This scene you imagined.
You see a cat.
A red cat.
You watch the cat's tail move.
Slightly.
You look at the cat's face.
The cat is looking out towards the mist.
You imagine yourself turning your own head out towards the mist.
And respire.
You can see birds The hills are rolling.
Almost as if they are blanketed.
Covered by warm wool blankets.
You imagine yourself wrapped in a warm wool blanket.
You feel at peace.
No matter what has occurred prior to this moment.
You.
You alone control this moment yourself.
You can do this.
You can do this.
You can do this.
Breathe.
As you breathe,
As you watch the mist.
The mist slowly dissipates.
As the mist dissipates,
You realise your worries are disappearing.
One.
Buy one.
You choose to associate your worries with the mist.
As the mist lifts.
You name your worries one by one.
And say goodbye.
Name the worry.
Let it go.
Name the issue.
The mist is rising.
The mist is rising.
Now you can see the landscape clearly.
The sky is blue.
You can see each tree,
Each branch.
And the detail.
Upon many of the lathes.
Some of the leaves.
Move gently.
And the wind.
Almost almost as if by our dancing.
You watch the dance of the leaves.
Worries gone.
You consider.
You contemplate.
Relax your body,
Relax your arms,
Legs,
Feet,
Hands.
Let go.
You realize,
You realize that compassion is like that morning mist.
It envelops and it nurtures.
Feeling compassion nurtures you,
Yourself,
Your conscious state.
When we feel compassion,
We remind ourselves that we are human.
Our compassion for self reminds us that we are flawed.
And imperfect.
We are beautiful in our raw state.
You remind yourself.
That you are okay.
You are okay.
In our interactions.
Whether we interact with ourselves.
Or with others.
Compassion allows us to soften our judgments.
Compassion gives us the perspective to look down upon judgment.
Compassion invites us to understand.
That everyone is navigating their own struggles.
Everyone.
And that's okay.
That's okay.
You're okay.
Relax,
Release your body,
Because you can.
Sometimes when you practice meditation.
It's easier to relax.
Sometimes not so,
And that's okay.
Accept the process.
Allow the process.
Take a moment to reflect on your own life,
Your own experiences.
Think of a time when you perhaps felt overwhelmed.
Perhaps when someone possibly crossed a boundary.
Or perhaps when you neglected your own needs.
Your own boundaries.
Consider.
It's okay.
Feel the emotions.
Feel the emotions,
And then imagine rising up above.
The emotions.
Higher.
And higher.
Look down upon the emotions.
The emotions are human.
Emotion is natural.
We can learn.
How to channel emotion,
Release emotion,
Learn from emotion.
It starts with identifying,
Naming,
And then accepting emotion.
Relax,
Release,
Let go your body.
You are allowed to feel emotion without judgement.
Recognizing feelings,
Emotions is the first step to embracing the practice of compassion.
Compassion for yourself.
Compassion for others.
Through the practice of compassion.
We feel peace.
Relax,
Release your body,
Let go.
Let go.
Setting boundaries.
Boundaries protect our emotional and physical space.
Allowing us.
To thrive,
Allowing us to be our authentic self.
Self.
They are not walls.
But rather gentle guidelines that help us navigate relationships.
Settings.
Situations.
Just as an animal knows when to retreat.
To a safe space.
Or possibly come forward to play.
We too must learn to communicate our needs clearly.
Know when to withdraw,
Know when to require help.
Change.
And when to accept.
Boundaries.
Boundaries protect our moral compass.
Boundaries are for self.
Rather than being to control another person.
Boundaries are for self.
Breathe.
I want you now.
To breathe in and out in a way which suits you.
And visualize your boundaries.
As soft.
Cauldron shimmering light surrounding you.
Each boundary is light.
Light surrounding you.
This light is warm and inviting,
Yet firm.
This light tells others.
This light states,
I am here.
I'm worthy.
And I require respect.
Boundaries don't dominate.
Boundaries don't shout.
Boundaries define who you are.
And who you are destined to become.
Boundaries are kind.
Clear.
And aware.
As you breathe,
Allow this light of each boundary to grow brighter and brighter.
With each breath,
You become more aware of your boundaries.
With each breath,
You become more aware of your boundaries.
You feel a sense of reinforcement.
Reinforcement of your sense of self.
And your right to establish reasonable limits.
An important component of reasonable limits.
Is kindness.
Kindness.
Think of your heart space.
Kindness lives within the heart and surrounds the heart.
All boundaries are centred,
Centred in kindness.
Centered in kindness.
Breathe.
Relax,
Release your body,
Arms,
Legs,
Feet,
Hands,
And consider,
Consider the balance between compassion and boundaries.
Boundaries and compassion.
We cannot.
Cannot express compassion without respecting our boundaries.
You know this.
Honoring your boundaries.
When you honor your boundaries.
You are not being selfish.
You are caring for self.
This act of self-love creates a ripple effect,
Encouraging others to respect their own boundaries as well.
You can do this.
This is who you are.
You demonstrate,
Express compassion.
You set boundaries.
Relax,
Release.
As you sit with these thoughts.
You watch the mist.
The last wisps.
Auf Mist!
Dissipate,
Disappear.
The landscape is clear.
The sky's blue.
You can see everything.
This is also the way with the mind,
By releasing worry.
We can see our journey more clearly.
It is not about having a certain journey.
The path can be unexpected.
But we navigate our journey of life armed with compassion and boundaries.
As you sit with these thoughts,
Gently,
Gently transition into a body scan.
Bring your awareness to your feet.
Feel your feet resting wherever they are.
Perhaps seated,
Perhaps lying down.
Notice any sensations,
Perhaps warmth.
Perhaps coolness,
Perhaps a slight tingling.
Now move your attention to your lower legs.
Let them relax.
With each breath,
Imagine releasing tension.
Move from your knees to your upper legs,
Hips,
Spine,
Chest,
Ribcage and let go.
Let those issues go,
Those worries.
Let them go.
Now bring your focus to your belly.
Feel it rise.
Fall,
Fall,
With each and every breath.
Embrace the natural rhythm of your breath.
Your breath communicates with you.
How you feel is expressed in each beautiful breath.
Listen.
What can you hear?
What message?
What learning?
What awareness!
Do you hear?
Relax shoulders,
Arms.
Allow your hands to rest comfortably.
Releasing any grip.
Not only do your hands release their grips,
But your mind releases its grip.
You do not need to hold on to anything.
You allow life to be.
What it is.
You know.
You know you will be okay you will be okay.
Perhaps you save yourself as you breathe,
As you relax.
I am okay.
I will be okay.
I am.
I am okay.
I will be okay.
I am.
I am.
Relax your neck,
Your head,
Your face.
Release your jaw.
Your forehead.
And your eyes.
Let go of any lingering thoughts,
Any feelings.
Remember in this moment,
You are simply being as you are.
No fixing.
No striving.
You are okay,
Just as you are.
Perfectly imperfect.
Perfectly imperfect,
That's you!
And that is our Kai.
Being mindful that thoughts are thought.
By a sense of I.
Who does the thinking?
I I,
I think,
Therefore I am.
I feel,
Therefore,
I am.
Who chooses the feeling and who,
Who chooses the thought?
It is the I.
And the eye.
The I can be created in each moment.
The I transcends time.
Is ever moving,
Ever shape-shifting.
Everything changes and that's okay.
Relax your body head to toe,
Breathe.
Relax your body,
Head to toe,
Breathe.
Relax your body,
Arms,
Legs.
Head,
Toes,
Hands,
Fingers,
Breathe.
It's okay.
It's okay.
Feel grounded.
Ready to embrace the moment.
The day each experience.
The past only affects you if you choose to allow it to be so.
You are the creator.
You are the manifesto of your own life.
You can do this.
Relax,
Relax,
Release your body.
Thank you.
You Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.

You Thank you.

You you you you.
