Good morning,

All you badass,

Beautiful breathers.

Thank you for being here with me.

Thank you for choosing yourself,

If only for a few minutes.

We live in a society that tells us to go,

Go,

Go,

And right now you're choosing to rest,

Rest,

Rest.

So I applaud you for being here,

And I give you all of my gratitude for choosing this track.

This breath work meditation is perfect for anyone who's ever had chronic pain,

Infertility,

Anything where you've completely disassociated from your body.

When it's all said and done,

We need to be in harmony with our body.

Your nervous system demands it for optimal health.

So this is about coming into the body,

Reconnecting,

And listening to what it has to say.

And I know this can make some people uncomfortable,

But we're going to start easy,

And you can stop at any time.

So lay down or sit up,

Whatever feels good for you,

Putting your hands in prayer pose over heart,

Over belly,

Breather's choice,

And just breathing right now.

Just noticing your breath.

What's the temperature around your nostrils,

Into your nostrils?

Does it tickle the outside of your nose?

What's the temperature on the exhale?

And can you follow your breath into your body?

Where does it go?

Where does it stop?

Does it stop in the lungs,

At the top?

Maybe you can get the breath down to the ribcage of the diaphragm,

Maybe deep into the belly.

Just breathe here,

Just be curious,

Like a little child.

Just curiosity wins right now.

Just feeling into the body,

Into the breath.

Where does it want to go?

And just breathing here for five.

Another soothing breath.

Again,

Nice and gentle.

And the last one,

Let this be the deepest breath you've taken all day so far.

One more sip?

You can do it.

And then let it out nice and slow,

As slow as you possibly can.

As slow as you possibly can go.

Good job.

And just feeling into this right now.

Maybe give your shoulders a little wiggle,

Your fingers,

Your toes,

Your jaw.

Just allowing yourself to fully relax into the breath.

Let the breath breathe you for a minute.

And just be here.

When you feel your thoughts start to wander,

Come back to the breath.

The temperature,

The direction,

Wherever it's trying to go,

Allow it with ease.

You don't need to take deep belly breaths right now.

You don't need to do anything other than what your body is trying to lead you to do.

Don't force it.

Be.

And this can be hard for some people.

But I know you can do it.

So just breathe here.

In through the nose.

Out through the nose or mouth.

Again,

Breather's choice.

Be curious.

Feel what feels good for you.

Go back and forth.

Find where you're most comfortable.

And ask your body,

What do I need to know right now?

And this is where putting your hands over your heart feels really good.

What do I need to know right now?

And can your breath give you the answer?

Can this moment of stillness allow the answer to surface?

And let whatever come up,

Come up.

Maybe it's a little bit of anxiety.

Maybe it's a little bit of fear,

Anger,

Resentment,

Grief.

Maybe it's joy,

Gratitude,

Happiness,

Elation.

Whatever's coming forth,

Let it.

And breathe.

Keep your shoulders relaxed.

Keep your jaw soft.

Keep your face soft.

Letting your body know it's safe to relax right now and to be in your body.

Now feel if you can bring that breath down to your toes.

Envision the color of your breath.

Maybe it's red.

Maybe it's blue.

Maybe it's yellow.

And with every inhale,

You can just push that breath down into the toes.

Surrounding your toes,

Your feet,

Your legs with beautiful,

Delicious energy.

Loving kindness.

Joy.

Peace.

Calm.

And then breathe in again.

And bring that colorful,

Beautiful energy breath down into your pelvis,

Your belly,

Your back,

Your shoulders,

Your chest.

And then that breath fills up your arms right down to your fingertips.

Feel your fingertips pulse with your vital energy,

Your chi,

Your essence.

That beautiful je ne sais quoi that makes you you.

Feel it move through your body.

Now let that breath come up into the throat,

Into your face,

Into your chin,

Your tongue,

Your cheeks,

Your eyes,

Your forehead,

Your ears,

Your head,

Your hair.

Focus on your hair,

Your scalp.

Can you feel where the hair comes out of the top of your head?

Letting every single atom,

Every single molecule,

Every single nerve come alive in your beautiful vessel that you get to wear right this moment.

Breathing into it.

Letting each inhale fill you with that vital life force.

The cosmos is in every breath,

Breathing it in and letting it out.

Feeling into this moment.

Feeling into your body.

Listening for answers.

What do I need to know right now?

What do I need to heal?

What do I need to know to do better?

Who do I need to forgive?

How do I forgive?

How do I release this thing holding me back?

How do I find gratitude?

Whatever is on your mind,

Just listen and breathe.

If there's any part of your body you feel you can't feel or access,

Send some loving light there.

Send your breath there.

And maybe it's not today,

But eventually you'll breathe into that spot that needs your breath most.

Your body will feel safe to allow you to connect again.

Three more.

Last one.

May you be gentle with yourself on this one.

Put a smile on your face.

Exhale nice and slow.

And then just let yourself breathe naturally.

Tuning into your toes,

Your feet,

Your legs,

Your pelvis,

Your torso,

Your arms,

Your hands,

Your face.

Allowing yourself to be heavy and unencumbered by thoughts.

Just allowing yourself to be here now.

Letting whatever feelings come up,

Come up.

And it's knowing it's safe for those feelings to arise.

And that this is the greatest gift you could give yourself right now.

Your nervous system will thank you.

Your immune system will thank you.

Your circulatory system,

Your cardiovascular,

Your respiratory,

Your entire body is thanking you right now.

And your soul,

It's worshipping you right now because you just gave it the opportunity to communicate to you.

Lean into this moment.

Put a little smile on your face.

You did it.

You did it.

Give yourself a self-hug,

A self-high-five,

A namaste.

Take a day,

Whatever feels good right now,

To acknowledge the ten minutes you've been here in this space with yourself.

Be gentle with yourself as you go through your day.

And don't forget to breathe.
