Welcome to a brand new day,
Taking a nice,
Full,
Deep breath in,
Replenishing your body after the night's sleep,
And letting that go.
Another gentle,
Deep breath in,
And releasing that.
Now let's start to bring some movement into your body.
Begin to wiggle your toes a bit.
Now rotating your ankles,
And the other way.
Now let's point the feet,
And flex them.
Pointing and flexing.
And alternating this way a few times.
Now keeping both feet in the flexed position,
And holding that.
And feeling a gentle stretch of the back of your legs.
And releasing that.
Now moving to the hands.
Wiggle your fingers.
And opening and closing the hands a few times.
Bring some warmth into them.
And now rotating the wrists.
Now clasping the hands together,
And stretching them up for a nice stretch.
And placing your hands behind your head.
Start gently rolling your head from side to side,
Doing this slowly at your own pace.
Getting a nice stretch.
Maybe holding your head to one side for just a few extra moments.
And bringing your head to center.
Releasing your hands,
And resting them gently on your lap.
Now repeating the following affirmations.
Today is going to be a good day.
I am strong.
I can get through anything.
I have everything I truly need.
My only real job today is to enjoy it.
Now doing one final big stretch,
However this looks for you.
Nice big stretch,
Waking up the whole body.
And now bringing your hands to your heart center.
And giving yourself kindness,
And love,
And peace as you begin your day.
