As you're settling in tonight,

Allow yourself a few quiet moments to feel grateful for your mind and your body,

For all they helped you move through,

Hold,

And accomplish today.

As you rest here,

Bring a soft awareness to your whole body,

Noticing the touch points beneath you,

The way you're being supported and gently invited to let go,

A place where you get to rest,

Restore,

And simply be.

See if you can make yourself even 1% more comfortable and go ahead and make that small adjustment now,

Letting your body know it's safe to soften and start relaxing.

If it feels right,

You might place one or both hands over your heart,

Noticing the steady rhythm of your breath beneath your palms,

A quiet reminder that you've made it through another day.

At your own pace,

Take two cleansing breaths to help you release the day,

A full,

Deep breath in and exhaling with a sigh,

Another breath in and letting it go with a sigh,

Releasing anything that feels heavy or lingering.

Slowly,

Your breath is slowing now,

Becoming softer,

Steadier,

Rhythmic,

As your body grows heavier,

More relaxed,

And ready for sleep.

As you drift toward rest,

Gently repeat these affirmations.

I close today with a gentle exhale,

Knowing I did my best.

I give myself permission to soften,

Unwind,

And release the weight of the day.

Tonight I am safe and protected.

My heart feels light and free from everything that weighs it down.

I welcome the quiet night ahead to replenish my heart,

Mind,

And soul.

Sleep well.

Good night.
