Welcome.
This practice is for the days the crash really hits.
When the tiredness feels bigger than a few breaths can touch,
But you still need to get through the rest of your day.
So if you're able to find somewhere to sit back for a moment.
Even if it's only briefly.
If it's comfortable.
You can close your eyes.
When you feel ready Just breathe out with a real sigh,
Out loud if that's possible for you right now.
And then breathing comfortably.
Just let it go with a sigh as you exhale.
Breathing in when you're ready.
Letting it go with a sigh as you exhale.
And just keep working with that breath in a way that's comfortable for you.
If you want to,
You could bring one hand to your chest or to your belly.
Whatever feels most steadying to you today.
As you breathe in,
Feel that hand rise slightly.
As you breathe out slowly.
Feel it fall.
Breathing in,
The hand rises slightly.
Breathing out.
Feeling it fall.
Continue at your own pace,
Breathing into that hand with nowhere else to be for these few minutes.
If your mind wanders,
Simply draw it back to the breath.
Feeling the hand rise on the inhale and fall again on the exhale.
When you feel ready release the hand back down to the legs or to the lap.
Just take a moment here.
To just notice how you feel.
You don't need to feel completely different by the end of this.
Just slightly more present.
Maybe slightly steadier than you were a few minutes ago.
When you feel ready.
In your own time,
Open your eyes.
And take one more full breath.
Before you carry on with your afternoon.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
