Working With The Afternoon Energy Crash

With Kate Plummer

A short course for the hours when energy disappears without warning, usually somewhere in the early afternoon. Across three lessons, explore why the afternoon dip happens, why not all tiredness is the same, and why small, honest practices work better than pushing through. Each lesson points to a short companion practice, so you finish the course with three tools you can actually reach for.

Meet your Teacher

Kate Plummer has been practising yoga for over twenty years and teaching full-time for more than fifteen. She also has lived experience of chronic fatigue spanning twenty-five years, and this sits at the centre of her teaching rather than apart from it. Her work focuses on fatigue, low energy and the nervous system, not as abstract topics, but as something she navigates daily in her own body. This gives her teaching on exhaustion a particular honesty: she does not ask students to do anything she has not first tested against the realities of a body with limited and unpredictable energy. Her approach favours small, sustainable steps over intensity, built on the belief that a practice someone can actually keep doing is worth far more than one that demands too much.
