Hello my friend,

And welcome to this meditation.

I encourage you to find a comfortable position,

A seat that will allow you to deeply relax.

I invite you to think outside of your typical meditation pose.

If you typically sit in a seated position,

Maybe consider lying down for this meditation.

If you're typically on the floor,

Maybe sitting on a chair or a couch would be more comfortable.

My ask is that you find a position that allows you to deeply sink into this moment.

Once you're comfortable,

Gently close your eyes or softly lower your gaze and take an intentional deep breath in and exhale.

Another grounding breath in,

Release.

Take one more minute to get any last fidgets out of your system,

Shift any parts of your body that may need a little bit of additional support,

Do a quick scan and ensure that nothing will get in your way of being in this moment.

And once we are settled,

I invite you to take another deep breath and a powerful exhale releasing all of the stress of your day.

I invite you to imagine your favorite place in nature.

Maybe that's a big open field.

Maybe it's on a beach where you can see the ocean or a lake.

It could be your back porch,

Looking out at your backyard or a park,

Or maybe your favorite place is deep in the woods,

Surrounded by trees,

The whisper of animals scurrying.

Picture yourself here,

Comfortably lying on your back,

Looking up at the sky.

What do you hear in this moment?

Do you hear the leaves rustling in the breeze?

Maybe it's the water lapping on the shore.

Are there birds chirping in the distance?

Maybe you hear a soft conversation from your neighbors in your favorite place in nature while you lie there peacefully.

What are you hearing?

What do you feel in this moment?

Is the surface beneath you soft?

Is it warm to the touch?

Do you feel the gentle pricks of grass against your skin?

Do you feel the sun against your skin?

Or the wind blowing your hair?

Do you hear the birds chirping in the distance?

Picture everything that you feel in this space.

What do you smell?

Maybe it's damp smell of fresh earth.

Is it the salty ocean air?

Maybe some nearby flowers.

Take a moment and really lean into what you smell in this moment in your favorite place in nature.

And finally,

What do you see?

From this perspective lying down on your back,

What can you see all around you?

It may be the trees towering over you.

Maybe you can see an animal friend or two skidding across the ground.

Do you see some dandelions poking up through the grass?

Maybe you can see the ocean or lake from this perspective.

Take in your surroundings.

What do you see?

I invite you to look up at the sky.

Where you notice it slowly changing from blue to some other color.

A magical,

Mystical color that only you can see.

What color is the sky changing to?

You're not scared in this moment.

More so in awe.

Knowing that you're getting to experience this otherworldly sight.

You continue to look up in amazement.

When you notice rain starting to slowly fall out of the sky.

Instead of hitting your skin,

Making you wet and cold.

Every drop of rain hits your skin and disperses into deep relaxation.

As the drops hit different parts of your body,

You feel relaxation down into your bones.

You feel the rain land on your face,

Encouraging all the muscles to completely surrender.

The space around your eyes,

Your forehead,

Your jaw all relax as the rain drips over them.

The rain flows down your chest,

Your arms,

Your shoulders.

Over your forearms,

Past your wrists,

Onto your hands and through your fingers.

You feel the deep relaxation entering your body,

Allowing every part to soften.

That rain continues on through your midsection,

Over your hips,

Down your thighs,

Past your knees,

Your shins.

Over your ankles,

All the way down,

Past your feet,

Through your toes.

Every drop delivering rest,

Release.

The ability to completely sink into the surface that's supporting you.

You spend some time here,

Feeling the most relaxed that you've ever felt.

A sense of peace and joy filling your soul.

Slowly but surely,

The rain starts to fade.

The sky returns to blue and the sun shines brightly.

And as you're laying there,

Still deeply relaxed,

You notice that the sun is not just providing warmth on your skin,

But that warmth is transmitting a powerful energy throughout your body.

This energy complements the relaxation,

Allowing you to move throughout your day with joy,

Excitement,

And a steady energy backed by physical relaxation and an inner peace.

Picture yourself slowly sitting up and taking your time to stand.

Now standing in your favorite place in nature,

Fully energized and relaxed to your core,

You take one final look around,

Feeling grateful for this space,

Grateful for everything you experienced,

What you felt,

What you saw,

What you smelled,

What you heard.

What an amazing day to be alive.

Picture yourself walking out of this space and transporting back into your daily routine.

As you enter back into your day,

Bring with you this energy and this relaxation,

Knowing that you can return to that special place if you ever need a moment.

Take a deep breath in with me,

And exhale.

Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

Noticing the noises and sensations of the room that you're in.

And when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

I see you.

I love you.

Until next time.
