Hi,

I'm Kristen with KWD Wellness.

Thank you for being here with me today.

This practice is offering a space to gently connect with nature,

With the sky,

The trees,

The wind,

And with your own breath.

You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels supportive.

There is no right way to experience this.

You might be sitting,

Lying down,

Gazing out a window,

Or just simply imagining,

Inviting yourself to settle in a way that feels comfortable and safe to you.

Maybe taking a moment now,

Letting your body land where you are,

Maybe softening the gaze,

Or gently closing the eyes if that feels okay.

Beginning by noticing the breath,

Noticing the simple act of breathing,

Not needing to change it,

Feeling the ground beneath you,

Letting yourself be supported by the earth,

The chair,

The floor,

Whatever is holding you up right now,

Allowing the shoulders to soften if that feels available.

Maybe imagining the air around you,

Is it cool or warm,

Still or moving?

Whatever is here,

Just letting it be.

Breathing in,

Sensing the possibility of spaciousness,

And breathing out,

Allowing a little bit of softening,

And when you're ready,

Beginning to imagine being outside,

Seeing a wide open sky stretching overhead,

Feeling the gentle movement of the wind brushing past your skin,

Imagining trees around you,

Branches moving,

Leaves shimmering in the breeze,

The whole living world moving and breathing alongside you.

Breathing in,

Sensing the connection to the sky above,

Breathing out,

Feeling the earth holding you below.

Maybe noticing the way the wind moves,

Gently,

Unpredictably,

Without needing the force or hurry.

Letting your experience just be as it is,

No need to make it peaceful or perfect,

Just noticing,

Allowing yourself to breathe with the trees,

Breathing in the sky,

Breathing with the wind,

Trusting your pace,

Pausing anytime you need,

And adjusting however you need to feel comfortable.

Considering now,

When was the last time you simply looked up?

Looking up at the sky,

Letting it remind you that you are part of something vast,

Something living.

The sky is all of it,

The movement,

The stillness,

The questions,

The hopes,

Maybe even inviting a sense of belonging,

Not needing to be a certain way,

Just simply being.

And if and when the mind is wandering,

Noticing that like that,

Noticing a breeze,

Noticing and gently returning to the breath,

To the sky,

To the trees,

Allowing a few breaths here as we sit quietly noticing.

And now beginning to bring gentle awareness back to the space around you.

Maybe feeling the support beneath you again,

Possibly wiggling your fingers or your toes,

Stretching if that feels good in this moment,

Placing a hand on the heart,

If that feels supportive,

Whispering or thinking to yourself,

I am here.

I am part of this living,

Breathing world.

And taking one final breath,

Breathing in spaciousness,

Breathing out ease.

Thank you for sharing this practice with me today,

Carrying forward whatever you found here,

Even if just a moment of noticing into the rest of your day.

Be well.
