Change often stirs a mix of emotions — hope, uncertainty, grief, and everything in between. In this gentle mindfulness practice, you’ll be invited to slow down, notice your breath, and create space for whatever is present. With kindness and steady guidance, you’ll explore how to meet change with softness rather than force. This is a calming practice to support resilience during times of transition.

Hi,

I'm Kristen with KWD Wellness.

I'm so glad you're here.

This is a space for healers,

Helpers,

And humans in transition.

Helping them to slow down,

Breathe a little easier,

And reconnect with what matters.

There's nothing you need to fix right now.

Just being here is enough.

Whenever you're ready,

You might settle in.

Maybe getting comfortable,

Feeling your feet against the ground,

Or letting your hands rest somewhere steady.

Let's begin together,

And at your own pace.

Allowing yourself to notice where your body needs support.

The chair beneath you,

The ground under your feet,

The way your breath gently rises and falls.

Or you might let your eyes close,

If that feels good.

Or even just soften your gaze.

Whatever's safe.

There's no right way to do this.

You're already doing enough by simply being here.

Being here,

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

Letting this be a moment where you don't have to hold it all together.

Letting this be a moment just for you.

Change has a way of stirring everything up.

Maybe you're feeling hopeful.

Maybe you're carrying grief.

Maybe you're just tired.

Maybe you're all of the above.

Whatever it is you're carrying,

It's welcome here.

Breathing in,

You might imagine making space for yourself.

Like opening a window.

And breathing out,

You might imagine letting something soften.

No need to force anything away.

Just letting it rest.

You might even check in with yourself right now.

Asking gently,

What am I carrying today?

What's asking for my attention?

There's no wrong answer.

Just simply noticing what's arising.

If it feels okay,

You might simply offer yourself a simple praise.

Breathing in,

I create space.

Breathing out,

I soften into what is.

And even if you don't feel calm,

That's okay.

Even if everything feels messy inside,

That's okay too.

The breath is here.

Your breath.

You are here.

And that is enough.

Whenever you're ready,

You can begin to bring your attention back to the space surrounding you.

Noticing the sounds.

Feeling the texture of the air against your skin.

Seeing the light wherever you are.

Maybe inviting some small movement into your awareness.

If it feels good.

Maybe stretching your fingers.

Moving your toes and your feet.

Rolling your shoulders.

Even possibly reaching your arms to the sky.

Again,

Whatever works for you.

Whatever's supportive.

I want to thank you for taking a moment and showing up for yourself.

And I want you to also thank yourself for showing up for yourself.

Even small practices like this can ripple in ways that you may not even notice.

Yet.

I encourage you to keep showing up for yourself in whatever moment you're able.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

And may you carry this feeling of enough and this softness into whatever comes next.

Be well.
