Welcome to tonight's journey to deep slumber.

Find a position that is most comfortable for you to sleep.

Close your eyes gently or soften your gaze if you prefer.

Make any adjustments to your position,

Your clothes,

Sheets,

Blankets or pillows,

To allow you to be the most comfortable.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Holding briefly at the top before releasing a slow sigh as you exhale.

Take another slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.

Take a few more deep breaths like this.

With each exhale,

Release the day.

Allow yourself to sink deeper where you are.

Release any tension you hold in your forehead,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders.

On the last deep breath in,

Hold it at the top for 4,

3,

2,

1 and release until empty for 4,

3,

2,

1 and return to normal breathing.

In through your nose and out through your nose if that's comfortable for you.

As you continue to breathe normally,

Gently bring your attention to the bottom of your feet.

Notice or imagine a warm,

Tingly sensation at the bottom of your feet.

From these chakra points at the soles of your feet,

Roots begin to grow.

These roots are strong and sturdy,

Reaching deep into the foundation of the house and into the earth beneath.

As you continue to visualize these roots,

Feel them grow longer and deeper.

They penetrate the earth's crust,

Winding through underground streams and rocks.

Imagine them reaching all the way to the center of the earth,

Where they connect with the warm,

Beating heart of Mother Earth.

With each beat of this cosmic heart,

You draw up the energy of the earth.

Feel this energy rise through your roots and into your feet.

It is a gentle,

Soothing warmth that fills your feet,

Relaxing any tension.

As this energy rises,

It moves up over your ankles and calves.

Feel the warmth spreading throughout your legs.

Your legs feeling heavy and grounded,

Like a weighted blanket has been placed over them.

Continue to visualize this energy rising higher.

It moves over your knees and thighs,

Relaxing any tightness or discomfort.

Your legs feel more and more relaxed and grounded.

This gentle earth energy continues its ascent,

Moving up over your hips and pelvis.

Feel the warmth expanding,

Filling your lungs and heart.

Breathe deeply,

Allowing the energy to nourish you.

This beautiful energy continues its journey,

Moving up through your chest and into your shoulders.

Feel the tension melting away as the warmth spreads through your upper body.

The energy rises higher,

Reaching your neck and head.

Feel the warmth filling your mind,

Calming any thoughts or worries.

Take a few deep breaths,

Allowing the energy to circulate throughout soothing and calming.

Now that you are feeling grounded and at peace,

Take a moment to visualize your inner landscape.

This is a special place in your mind,

A serene landscape where your imagination comes to life.

Imagine yourself stepping onto a soft,

Grassy path,

Bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun.

Birds sing sweetly in the distance,

And a gentle breeze carries the scent of wildflowers.

This is your personal path to slumber,

A journey towards peaceful rest.

Begin your walk,

Feeling the cool grass beneath your bare feet.

With each step,

Feel your body become lighter and more relaxed.

Notice the sounds around you,

The rustle of leaves,

The chirping of crickets,

The murmur of a nearby stream.

Allow these sounds to lull you into a deeper state of tranquility.

As you continue on the path,

You encounter a majestic oak tree with sprawling branches.

Take a moment here to lean against its strong trunk,

Feeling its grounding energy.

As you continue down the mossy path,

You notice it opens into a vast meadow,

Bathed in the soft light of the moon.

The air is filled with the fragrance of blooming night jasmine.

Take a deep breath,

Feel the calming scent fill your senses.

Look up at the vast expanse of the night sky.

Countless stars twinkle like diamonds scattered across black velvet.

Each star represents a moment of peace and tranquility.

This path leads you to a tranquil lake.

Its surface reflecting the twinkling stars above.

The water is still and clear,

Inviting you to gaze into its depths.

Safely on the bank of the lake,

You peer over the water,

Seeing your reflection in it.

But instead of your usual face,

You see a radiant,

Peaceful version of yourself.

This is the essence of who you are at your core.

Calm,

Centered,

And loved.

Spend some time here,

Basking in the reflected light of the stars and the serenity of the lake.

Leaving the lake behind,

The path leads you into a grove of ancient trees.

Their leaves whisper secrets in the night breeze.

Secrets of peace and tranquility.

As you walk through the grove,

Feel the wisdom of the trees envelop you.

Listen closely.

Perhaps you can hear a message meant just for you.

A reminder of your inner strength and resilience.

Finally,

The path opens up into a clearing.

A warm,

Soft light emanates from the center,

Inviting you in.

As you step into the clearing,

Feel all the worries and anxieties of the day melt away,

Like snowflakes near a campfire.

In the center of the clearing,

You see a comfortable bed made of soft clouds.

Lie down on the bed,

And feel your body sink into its luxurious comfort.

Breathe deeply,

And with each breath,

Feel yourself surrender to complete relaxation.

Now,

Allow your awareness to move inward to your body.

Focus on the rhythm of your breath,

Feeling the rise and fall of your chest with each inhalation and exhalation.

Imagine your breath to be a gentle wave,

Washing away any remaining tension or stress.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Feel your body becoming heavier and more relaxed.

A sense of peaceful drowsiness washes over you.

At this time,

If thoughts arise,

Simply acknowledge them and let them float away,

Like clouds on a gentle breeze.

You don't need to hold onto them.

Your only task now is to surrender to sleep,

To allow yourself to drift into a deep and peaceful slumber.

And just remember,

The path will always be here for you,

Ready to guide you toward a restful night's sleep whenever you need it.

Sleep soundly,

Knowing that you are safe,

Loved,

And supported.

And as you drift off to sleep,

Allowing the calming sounds of gentle music to wash over you,

These sounds will lull you further into a deep,

Restful sleep.
