Welcome to this meditation to help you deal with difficult change I know that change can be painful,
Loss can be painful,
But the more we resist,
The more it hurts So,
I invite you to take some space to feel what needs feeling,
And take a breath Slowing down and connecting with the calm within,
We can find the clarity we need to move forward and cultivate peace of heart and mind So,
Find a place to sit or lie down,
Just make sure you're comfortable Gently close your eyes Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Let your shoulders soften Let your jaw release any tension Feel the weight of your body being drawn to the earth Bring your awareness to your breath,
Noticing the gentle rhythm as it flows in and out There's no need to change it,
Just simply observe Draw your senses inward Let's release the outside world for just a few moments Let the sounds around you fade into the background Allow your focus to rest solely on your inner experience What does it feel like inside your body?
Notice the taste inside your mouth Witness the darkness behind your eyes Feel the energy moving through your body Relax the muscles in your chest Bring yourself to the present moment Let go of any thoughts about the past Any worries about the future Just rest in the present Now think about what's causing you pain Oftentimes,
When we feel pain,
Our suffering is made worse by wishing things were different than they were What happens if we just accept,
For just this moment,
Just let go of the resistance For just these few moments,
Let it in If it hurts,
Feel the hurt Don't hold onto it,
No grasping Repeat silently in your head Gently bring your awareness back to your body Focus on the tips of your fingers And the soles of your feet Feel your chest rise and fall Notice how you feel Even if you just touched the surface This peace of heart and mind This calm clarity Is always within you And available to you at any moment Return to this meditation anytime you need to And may you find peace and strength on the road ahead Namaste
