Hello.
Welcome.
I'm going to lead you through a chakra rainbow meditation.
To begin our class.
Let's find a comfortable and peaceful position.
Whatever's going to work best for you,
Depending on where you are today.
Meditation should be able to be done anywhere.
So wherever you're at,
Settle into a place and position.
That serves you.
And then when you're ready and feel inspired.
Breathe slowly and gently close your eyes.
Chakras are seven energy centers that are located along the spine.
Each of them.
Has a beautiful color attached to them.
The colors of the rainbow.
We're going to go through our chakras today.
And we're going to see the beautiful rainbow of colors.
And hopefully bring a little balance to them.
Sometimes they get a little off balance.
So the term chakra comes from the Sanskrit word for wheel.
So these energy centers are like spinning discs of light.
And chakras actually originated in Indian texts?
Back around 1500 BC.
Yes,
That far back.
Before we really delve into our chakra rainbows.
Let's just breathe.
Let's center ourselves.
Let's inhale.
And as you inhale,
I'm inviting you to feel joy in your body.
Even if you don't feel it,
Just see how it goes.
Maybe even just repeat the word joy as you inhale.
And then as you exhale,
Breathe out.
Anything that isn't peaceful within you.
Anything that isn't joy.
Let's do that.
Four more times.
Inhaling jaw.
Exhaling anything that's feeling Unpeaceful.
Unjoyful.
Three more times,
Inhale.
Joy joy joy And exhale,
Whatever you need to let go of,
Just let it go through that exhale.
Twice more inhaling.
And exhaling.
And once more,
Inhaling as best as you can that feeling of joy.
And then exhaling anything that isn't that joy,
Letting it go.
Now let's start at the base of our spine.
It's time to see that chakra rainbow.
The root chakra.
That root chakra is the color of red.
See red spinning like a wheel at the base of your spine.
And as you see this color of red.
I invite you to breathe in grounded security because that's what supports us there in that root chakra.
And as you exhale,
Exhale on the unbalanced pieces of your life.
I know,
It's a big one.
Maybe even just say,
I am exhaling unbalanced pieces of life without even identifying what it is.
So take a couple more moments.
And as you breathe in,
You're breathing in a beautiful grounded security feeling as you see that red light swirling at the base of your spine.
And exhaling any of that unbalanced feeling in your life.
That feeling of maybe not feeling secure and safe on the planet.
Take another couple of moments,
Just inhaling and exhaling.
C.
That color of red.
And then we're going to move up to the second chakra.
Which is in the lower abdomen.
And it's the color of orange.
See that orange spinning like a wheel.
And as you breathe.
Breathe in creativity.
And then breathe out any boredom,
Creative blocks,
Or those excuses we use around not being creative.
This chakra is very much about not only creativity,
But also emotional balance.
Reflection Vision.
So take a few deep breaths.
Inhaling creativity.
Maybe going back to that inhale of joy.
And breathing out that maybe feelings of boredom,
Uninspiration.
And he blocks in creativity.
Negative emotions,
Letting them go.
And as you breathe this,
You're still seeing that orange spinning wheel of light at your second chakra.
And now we move up to the solar plexus chakra,
Which is located in the upper abdomen area.
And that is associated with your personal power,
Your confidence.
It is the beautiful color of yellow.
See that yellow there swirling.
Once again ah joy let's breathe in that joyful life and breathe out any fear that might be holding you back.
Continue.
See that yellow light swirling.
And breathe in joy and exhale fear.
Inhale joy,
Exhale fear.
Let's move on up,
Heart chakra.
It's in the center of your chest.
And it's that color of green,
Yes,
See that green,
The swirling green light at the center of your chest,
Representing love,
Compassion,
Connection.
And as you breathe,
You're inhaling a sense of renewal in your heart.
And as you exhale,
You might exhale anything you're holding onto in your heart,
Like grief,
Sorrow,
Anger,
Any upsets that's weighing on you in your chest.
Very often when our heart chakra is feeling off balance,
We feel a heaviness in our chest.
So as you breathe this,
You might start to feel more of a lightness.
Seeing that green light and breathing in that sense of renewal in your heart and breathing out any grief,
Sorrow and upset.
And then we're gonna move up to the throat chakra.
The throat chakra governs communication and self-expression.
It's the color of blue.
A beautiful bloom.
Let's see that spinning around our throat area.
And I invite you to breathe in a sense of calmness.
As you see this blue light and exhale out any tension.
We unknowingly hold on to stress and tension,
Especially in the jaw,
Grinding our teeth.
And a lot of times you even will feel coughing when you're holding yourself back.
When you feel like you can't express yourself.
So notice how your throat chakra feels.
Give it some love.
See that blue light.
And breathe into it a sense of calmness.
And breathing out the tension.
And when we start to release the tension and blockages in the throat chakra,
We feel more free to express ourselves.
We feel a calmness.
And a confidence about expressing ourselves and communicating whatever we feel we need to communicate.
And moving to the third eye chakra.
Which is between the eyebrows and is associated with the color of indigo.
It supports us in intuition and insight.
See that indigo wheel?
Between the eyebrows.
And as you breathe in.
Inhale,
A knowingness.
A wisdom that you have inside you.
And breathe out any negativity.
Sometimes negativity holds us back from tapping into our wonderful and innate beauty.
Wisdom that is within all of us.
So continue to play and see that.
Indigo light at the third eye chakra.
And breathing in that inner knowingness and breathing out that negativity.
And then we move to the crown,
Which is associated.
With the color of violet.
It's located at the top of our head,
Representing a connection to the self.
Also,
Enlightenment.
See that beautiful violet swirling at the top of your head.
Invite gratitude as you inhale.
And breathe out anything that doesn't serve your higher self.
Just letting it go through that exhale.
Take a few moments,
Tuning into your crown shop.
That connection to self,
To enlighten.
Now we're going to envision the full chakra rainbow balancing our body.
Let's envision each color at each chakra spinning the wheels and balancing us completely.
In any way,
We need to be balanced.
And our body knows,
We just.
.
.
Need to take this time for it and energetically.
We see the colors and the balance begins to happen.
Seeing at the root chakra the color of red.
The sacral chakra,
The color orange.
The solar plexus chakra,
The color of yellow.
The heart chakra the color green.
The throat chakra,
The color blue.
Traveling up to the third eye chakra,
The color of indigo.
And finally,
The crown,
The color of life.
See all those colors swirling.
That is your full chakra rainbow.
I'm going to give you just a few moments of silence to see that and feel that and notice how it feels in your body and your mind.
As you envision this full chakra rainbow balancing your body.
I invite you to take that beautiful rainbow back out into the world with you after this meditation.
And just shine your balanced chakras out to all.
When you're ready to conclude,
Slowly bringing yourself back.
And do what your body and mind need to to come back from your meditation.
Maybe you just sit here a little longer.
Maybe you're ready to conclude and you stretch a little bit.
Just what does your body need right now?
Be in that awareness and that presence.
The very last thing is a slow opening of the eyes.
Welcoming yourself back,
Maybe looking around your room and reacclimating yourself.
I thank you so much for joining me for this meditation.
