Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose,
And as you exhale through your mouth,
Let go of any tension or stress you may be holding onto.
Take a moment to check in with your body and ensure that you are comfortable.
Take this time to make any adjustments that will make you feel completely at ease and relaxed within your body.
Bring your attention to the sounds you may be hearing in the space around you.
Without holding onto anything or pushing anything away,
Invite neutral orientation that allows your external environment surrounding you to be exactly as it is.
Remember that you are safe and supported.
Take a moment to invite your awareness to feel the places where your body is in contact with the ground beneath you.
Feel the strength of the earth beneath you.
Welcome a deep breath into your lungs,
And as you exhale,
Allow the weight of your body to become heavy as it anchors into the earth.
Now,
Let's begin your journey of gratitude through the different parts of your body.
Begin by bringing your attention to your feet.
Feel the ground supporting you and the sensations in your feet.
Send a wave of gratitude to your feet for carrying you through life's journey and for enabling you to stand,
Walk,
And experience the world around you.
Moving your focus up to your ankles and lower legs,
Feel any sensations or warmth in this area.
Express gratitude to your ankles and lower legs for providing stability and flexibility,
Allowing you to move freely and engage in various activities.
Thanking your ankles and lower legs for all they do to support you.
Begin shifting your awareness to your knees and thighs.
Take a moment to acknowledge the strength and endurance they provide.
Offer gratitude for the ability to sit,
Stand,
And move with ease,
Appreciating the support they give you throughout the day.
Moving your attention to your hips and pelvis,
Feel any sensations here and recognize the role they play in supporting your posture and enabling you to engage in various physical activities.
Express gratitude for the stability and mobility they bring to your body.
Refocus your concentration on your lower back and abdomen.
Take a moment to appreciate the core strength and support they provide,
Helping you to maintain balance and protecting your internal organs.
With your focus ascending up to your chest and upper back,
Notice the rise and fall of your breath in this area.
Send gratitude to your heart for beating tirelessly,
Circulating life-giving blood throughout your body.
Express appreciation for your lungs,
Allowing you to breathe in the fresh air and oxygen that nourishes you,
Grounds you,
And brings vitality into your life.
Turn your attention to your hands and arms.
Feel any sensations in these areas.
Send gratitude to your hands for enabling you to touch,
Create,
And interact with the world around you.
Appreciate your arms for their strength and ability to embrace others and your love and gratitude to those around you.
Drifting up to your shoulders and neck,
Notice any tension in these areas and consciously release it with each breath.
Express gratitude for your shoulders,
Which often carry burdens,
And your neck,
Which supports your head,
Allowing you to experience the world from a higher perspective.
Allowing your focus to spread into your face and head,
Feel any sensations here,
Noticing your facial muscles,
Relaxing,
Allow your mouth to drop open and your jaw to relax and release.
Imagine a softening throughout your scalp,
A heaviness in your inner ears,
And pleasant heaviness around your eyes.
Take this opportunity to appreciate your face for the smiles it gives,
Your eyes for allowing you to see the beauty in the world,
And your mouth that allows you to communicate your thoughts,
Feelings,
Love,
And appreciation for others.
Express gratitude to your brain for processing information,
Thoughts,
And emotions.
Offer thanks for your senses,
Allowing you to experience the beauty of life through sight,
Sound,
Taste,
Touch,
And smell.
Relaxing into your body that does so much for you each moment of each day,
Bring your awareness to your entire body as a whole.
Take a moment to feel the unity of your body,
Mind,
And breath.
With a sense of profound gratitude,
Acknowledge the miracle that is your body,
The vessel that carries you through life's journey.
Take a few deep breaths to bask in the gratitude you have shown your beautiful body.
