Welcome back everybody.
This exercise today is extremely simple but very powerful and it's part of a simple routine that we're going to put together in the next video.
It's very easy to do at home,
You can actually do this anywhere and it helps you to stay in a regulated state of energy the whole time.
It's just called quiet sitting.
So quiet sitting is a very sophisticated part of what's called the 24 hours Qigong method.
And the way in which you do this is you connect to events during the day and you regulate your qi to carry you throughout the day.
You can do this anywhere and whenever it comes to mind you can just practice it.
If you can manage to do this between 3 and 5 times a day This will help you to stay in the Qigong state.
And with Qigong,
Remember that the important thing is not only the movement,
But the mental and emotional relaxation that you feel at the same time.
So sometimes we need to give the tea a little bit of a kick to get it moving and the kick can often come from the mind.
So you're using your mind just to sit and do this quiet sitting.
To push this button a few times a day.
And sooner or later,
If you do this,
The amount of times that you link it together,
Will actually coordinate together and keep you in that state,
In that Qigong state for the whole day.
So the position for this is just as I said sitting.
And you just make sure that you're in a position that doesn't impede the flow of chi.
So in a similar way to the standing position,
You have straight posture,
The back is nice and straight,
The arms are relaxed and there's just a little bit of a gap underneath the armpits.
For this exercise,
You can have your eyes either closed or open.
And you stay in this quiet state for just a minute or two.
You can integrate this exercise into your daily activities whenever you get the opportunity.
So again,
It's not something you can overdo,
But just by bringing your mind into thinking about what you're doing.
Will help to keep you in the Qigong state and help to keep you regulated during the whole day.
