Hi friend,
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position and gently find a soft gaze or close down your eyes.
Bring your awareness to your body,
To your breath and simply notice what's there.
Now take a slow breath in through the nose and exhale gently through the mouth letting go of any tension and again deep inhale through the nose and a slow exhale through the mouth,
Let it go.
Know that these few minutes that you've chosen to take for yourself matter.
When we set an intention,
When we connect with how we want to feel,
It shapes the day ahead.
So take a moment to appreciate yourself for taking this time.
Now I want you to think back to one moment in your life that brought you real joy,
Perhaps one of the happiest moments you can remember.
Let it surface,
Take yourself right back to that moment.
What could you see?
What could you hear?
And most importantly,
What did you feel?
Let yourself feel it again now,
Generate that same feeling of joy,
Of warmth in your heart.
Now let that feeling expand,
From your heart let it spread through your entire body,
From the tips of your toes all the way to the crown of your head,
Down your arms into your fingertips.
Let your whole body fill with this energy.
Now I want you to imagine a moment in your future something you're moving toward,
Something that would bring you this same feeling of joy.
It might be something big,
It might be something quiet,
Let it come to you.
See this moment in your mind's eye.
Where are you?
Who's there?
What's happening?
And feel it,
Feel it as if it's already happening,
As if you're already in it.
Let the joy of that future moment fill your body.
The same warmth,
The same aliveness,
It's already yours.
Now gently,
I want you to send this energy of joy,
Of happiness,
Of warmth,
All around your body.
And then send this energy into the rest of your day.
Imagine this feeling flowing out ahead of you,
Filling each hour.
See yourself moving through your tasks today,
Whatever needs to be done with ease.
You work through them calmly,
Confidently,
One thing at a time.
Continuing to feel that joy and that warmth spread from your heart.

Set the intention to carry this feeling with you.
Not forcing joy,
Just choosing it wherever you can.
Letting it colour the moments,
The interactions,
The spaces in between.
And as you move through your day,
Notice what inspires you.

Take one more breath in through the nose.

Taking a moment to feel your sitting bones connecting to the surface beneath you.
Gently returning to the space that you're in.
