Welcome to this guided meditation to help you feel more grounded and at the same time to expand your awareness and to feel more interconnected to the greater forces in the universe.

Please find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,

Turning off or silence any distractions and find a comfortable seated position,

Softly closing down your eyes if that is comfortable.

If you need to move at any time during this meditation,

Please feel free to do so but make sure you move mindfully.

We will start by relaxing the mind and body by taking three deep cleansing breaths,

On your next inhale take a long slow deep inhale and a complete full exhale,

Allowing your body and your mind to relax.

Taking another deep inhale,

Notice how your stomach expands,

Your chest and shoulders rise and a full exhale,

Relaxing your mind and your body,

Releasing any stress and tension that you are holding.

Taking one more deep inhale,

Feeling the expansiveness of your body and a complete exhale,

Relaxing your body completely,

Releasing any remaining stress and tension and return back to your natural breath,

Breathing in and out of your nose naturally.

Scan your body now from your head to your toes and just relax anywhere in your body that you are holding any tension,

Any tightness,

Soften these areas,

Allow them to become heavy and relaxed,

Starting off at the top of your head,

Moving into your face,

Relaxing your jaw and your tongue,

Allow your shoulders to be heavy,

Your arms to be heavy,

Relaxing your chest and your back and softening your stomach,

Allow it to rest and to be heavy,

Resting your legs,

All the way down to your feet and your toes and just return your attention back to your breath,

Breathing in and out of your nose naturally.

If you get distracted by any sounds during this meditation,

That is okay,

Just become aware that your attention has drifted,

Be kind to yourself and gently return your attention back to the meditation,

Just using your gentle awareness,

There is no need to focus too hard or to regulate your breathing,

Just breathe naturally and allow your body to be relaxed.

Breathe in and out naturally and use your gentle attention,

Take your attention to your feet that are on the earth,

Notice the connection,

Notice how the ground supports you and I want you to visualize,

To imagine or to feel that the roots of your feet are going deeper and deeper into the ground.

The deeper they go into the ground,

The more they spread out from the front to the back and to the sides,

Just like the roots of a tree.

And these roots of you,

Of your body are going deeper and deeper into the earth,

Spreading wider and wider.

This is the earth that is your home,

It provides everything that you need,

Provide you with all the shelter,

All the nourishment from the food,

Water,

All of the medicinal properties of the plants,

It supports you throughout your life.

You are now feeling grounded,

You are feeling strong and stable with your feet deep in the earth.

You are feeling grounded mentally,

Physically,

Emotionally,

Energetically and spiritually.

You are coming back into balance and harmony,

Harmonizing your nervous system,

Your mind and your body.

At any time you are feeling uneasy in life or you are feeling out of sorts,

Stressed or high emotions,

You can always get your feet on the earth and the earth will always ground you and support you and anchor you in this moment,

The present moment.

Moving from the roots of you in this earth,

Back up towards your feet,

Keeping this grounded feeling,

This stability.

Moving up from your legs,

All the way up your body now to your head.

And you can visualize,

Imagine or feel the crown of your head opening.

And these are the branches,

The leaves of your tree,

The leaves of you,

The leaves of you,

Reaching into the sky,

Growing taller and taller,

Moving past the clouds,

Going further and further into the cosmos,

Into the whole universe.

And the further this spreads into the universe,

Grows wider and wider.

And this is connecting you to the greater forces that create and sustain everything in existence.

You are connecting to your true power,

Your intuition,

The knowing,

The deep knowing that resides inside you.

This part of you is boundless,

It is infinite and it is powerful.

This is your true power,

Your true strength,

Your intuition.

And this is growing stronger in you.

And this is growing stronger in you.

Your feet are still deep in the earth,

You are still grounded,

You are still stable and strong.

But the branches and the leaves of you have reached high into the cosmos,

Expanding far and wide,

Connecting with the true power that creates and sustains everything in existence.

You are a powerful being.

You can create an infinite amount of possibilities.

You are feeling very grounded and stable with your feet in the earth.

You can feel your power and your intuition connecting high into the cosmos.

Allow yourself to embody these forces.

Allow yourself to embody the grounding and the unbounded infinite potential that lies within you.

You can bring your attention back to your breath now.

Breathing in and out of your nose naturally.

There is nothing to imagine or visualize now.

There is nothing to imagine or visualize now.

Just simply breathe in and out of your nose naturally.

You can take your attention off your breath now and just sit in the stillness,

Sit in the energy that you have created and surrounded yourself with.

Start to listen to the sounds that are around you now.

Begin to get a sense of your surroundings.

You can slowly start to move your hands and your feet and stretch out into the space around you.

You can slowly begin to open your eyes,

Starting off gazing down at the floor,

Taking your time coming back around.
