Welcome to the InBody Meditation Series with me,

Jamie.

This meditation will work on finding peace and positivity.

Find a comfortable seating position,

With your body upright,

But still allowing your belly to be relaxed.

Take a few deep breaths here,

Just coming into body and just observing the room or your surroundings.

Just giving yourself some thanks today,

And appreciation for taking some time out the day,

To relax and turn off the mind.

Now as we close our eyes,

Just begin to deepen the breath.

Going in through the mouth,

And out through the nose.

Seeing if we can just slow everything down,

Just slow the whole body down.

Just filling the belly full of air,

And allowing the air to naturally just fall back out the nose.

Along with this deep and slow breath,

Just imagine you're breathing in peace with the air,

The peacefulness that the air stands for,

The life that the air brings.

While you're breathing,

Just allow this appreciation for the air you breathe to come with the breath.

And with this nice deep,

Slow appreciation of breath,

Just follow it on with your breath.

Just follow it on its journey from outside your mouth,

All the way down the throat,

Filling up the lungs and the belly,

And just hold for a few seconds with the full belly,

And just feel all that beautiful air,

Oxygen,

Move into your body and allow it to go again.

Letting it move out through the nose,

And feeling the warmth as the nose recaptures the heat.

Just following this circle of life,

One we don't pay much attention to,

Just giving it fullest attention,

Noticing that little gap at the top of your breath where your lungs are full,

Your blood fills with oxygen.

You can also use this concentration on the breath to release any thoughts that you may be having,

If you catch yourself getting submersed in thought.

Just take a deep breath in,

And just allow the breath to melt away the thoughts as the warm air passes through the nose.

Now keeping this breath as our anchor,

Let's sink a little bit more deeper into peacefulness in the body by just listening and feeling our heartbeat.

The more we slow down,

The more we can feel our heartbeat.

So just set alert and relaxed,

And observe where you can feel the beat in the body.

Just really slowing down with the breath,

And following the sensation of the heartbeat.

This heartbeat you feel will mainly be the oxygenated blood that your lungs have just taken in.

Really connecting with this process of how your breath,

Nice,

Deep and slow,

Taking in oxygen,

And your heartbeat steadily transporting this to all your cells of your body.

These organs work restlessly like nature.

Happiness surrounds them.

And just giving them permission to slow down,

Giving them permission to work a little bit more deeply and slowly.

Just continue to deepen and slower.

See if you can feel your heartbeat just slow down.

Still working at the same capacity,

Just not as rushed as we tend to want to rush everything.

Just allowing this moment just to slow down.

Really feeling the appreciation for what your body does.

Now with these two anchors now you've got your breath and your heartbeat.

Just observe your body,

Your muscles,

Just starting with your face or your eyebrows and your eyes relaxed.

Or your cheek and your jaw relaxed.

Often with meditation we can tend to over concentrate and scrunch up our face in trying to find something.

When really meditation is about letting go of everything there's nothing to find.

So just allowing this tension to release with the deep relaxed breath and the nice gentle heartbeats just joining it all together.

Your face is just melting.

It's even healthy to have a little slight smile.

As in a relaxed state the smile comes more naturally.

Now just scanning down through the body.

Wears are often holding high,

Just allowing them to drop and relax fully.

Your body parts stacked on top of one another to allow yourself to remain upright but relaxed.

Now as we move down the midsection and we get to around the heart area,

Just go inwards,

Just go within your belly and just see if you can feel your stomach,

Your digestive system,

Any little movements that may come with the breath,

Food moving around.

Maybe you can feel the warmth from the tea that you drank before.

Just paying it some attention and also finding the peace within here,

The peace within your bodily organs,

All working so tirelessly to give energy.

Just giving permission for your belly and your digestive system to relax.

Take a few deeper breaths,

Holding,

Releasing,

Holding,

And releasing.

Just giving that belly permission.

The belly can store a lot of tension,

Fear.

Just being able to check in with this throughout the day as well.

Are you holding your belly tight or are you relaxed?

They say a lot of enlightened beings have a happy belly.

Do you have a happy belly which is allowed to be relaxed and popping out a little bit?

Just allow your belly to be happy.

And moving down,

Just feeling the connection to the ground.

Just feeling this connection to Mother Earth.

Feeling the energy pass from one to the other.

Everything has an electromagnetic field and grounding is so important.

This works in both ways,

Giving and receiving energy.

So now to finish,

Just really accepting positive energy,

Positive life force that is in the ground and is there to support us.

Breathing in,

Accepting,

Breathing out,

Releasing.

Breathing in,

Accepting,

Breathing out,

Releasing.

Breathing in,

Accepting more peace.

Breathing out,

Releasing something that doesn't serve you.

Pick something which you've been holding onto or has been frustrating you in the last few days or week and just allowing that to be released.

Breathing in more positive energy with the in-breath,

Happiness,

Joy.

Pick a word which resonates with you.

Breathing out,

Pick a word which allows you to release this energy.

Every person has got their own words which means something to them.

I want you to use this now for the next 30 seconds.

Letting your body fill with this positive energy,

Like a water bottle filling to the top.

Imagine this positive energy filling,

Filling,

Filling.

While you do this exercise it might be nice just to sit a little bit straighter and now allow your body to tighten up a little bit,

Lifting your chin up and your nose up and your forehead up,

Feeling like a full bottle.

Now just putting the cap on the top,

Just letting out some sighs,

Feeling that release,

Relieved feeling of letting go of a burden that you've been holding onto.

Letting out some sighs or deeper breaths now,

Just slowly come back into your body by moving your shoulders up and down.

Just moving your head side to side,

Wiggling your fingertips and your toes.

Just opening your eyes and noticing all the beautiful energy around you.

All the energy inside you which you have to give and really concentrating on giving out positive energy to the people you encounter in the day,

Knowing that this energy is crossing over to them and they can carry on moving it to the next person.
